HEALTH EFFECTS
(IN ACUTE EXPOSURE)
SWALLOWED: Harmful if swallowed. Can cause nausea, vomiting and
difficulties in
breathing.
EYE: May cause irritation to eyes.
SKIN: Maybe irritating to skin.
INHALED: May cause irritation.
FIRST AID
SWALLOWED: Wash out the mouth with water, then drink plenty of water.
Seek medical
advice.
EYE: Irrigate with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if
irritation persists. SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap
and water.
INHALED: Remove to fresh air, keep victim at rest. Consult a doctor.

ventilation should be sufficient.
PERSONAL PROTECTION:

chemical safety glasses can be worn. Approved barrier creams may prove
useful in
preventing dermatitis. Good Animal Handling Practice may require the
use of surgical
gloves.
