Co to jest lek PV Jod

10% i w jakim celu się go stosuje

Lek PV Jod 10 %, roztwór zawiera substancję czynną powidon jodowany. Lek po zastosowaniu na

skórę działa na bakterie, grzyby i wirusy.

Wskazania

Lek PV Jod 10% stosuje się:

- w zapobieganiu oraz leczeniu zakażeń skóry i błon śluzowych wywołanych przez bakterie, grzyby i

wirusy (liszajec, ropne i łojotokowe stany zapalne, czyraki, grzybica stóp),

- do dezynfekcji ran, zwłaszcza powierzchniowych i po zabiegach chirurgicznych oraz oparzeń,

strupów i owrzodzeń, szczególnie podudzi,

- do odkażania skóry przed zabiegami chirurgicznymi,

- do odkażania błon śluzowych jamy ustnej i pochwy.

Informacje ważne przed zastosowaniem leku PV Jod 10%

Kiedy nie stosować leku PV Jod 10%:

jeśli pacjent ma uczulenie na powidon jodowany, jod lub którykolwiek z pozostałych

składników tego leku (wymienionych w punkcie 6),

doustnie,

u pacjentów z zaburzeniami czynności oraz chorobami gruczołu tarczowego,

u dzieci w wieku do 2 lat,

długotrwale,

na rozległe powierzchnie ciała (ponad 30%),

u pacjentów przewlekle chorych,

u osób z niewydolnością nerek,

u osób leczonych równocześnie produktami litu.

Ostrzeżenia i środki ostrożności

Unikać kontaktu leku z oczami.

Lek może zaburzać wyniki badań gruczołu tarczowego.

Lek może powodować występowanie fałszywie dodatnich wyników badań laboratoryjnych, np. na

wykrywanie krwi utajonej w kale.

Należy skonsultować się z lekarzem, nawet jeśli powyższe ostrzeżenia dotyczą sytuacji występujących

w przeszłości.

Dzieci

U dzieci w wieku powyżej 2 lat, ze względu na przenikanie jodu do organizmu, lek należy stosować

szczególnie ostrożnie.

Nie stosować u dzieci w wieku do 2 lat.

Stosowanie leku PV Jod 10% u pacjentów z zaburzeniami czynności nerek

Nie należy stosować leku u osób z niewydolnością nerek.

Lek PV Jod 10% a inne leki

Należy powiedzieć lekarzowi lub farmaceucie o wszystkich lekach stosowanych przez pacjenta

obecnie lub ostatnio, a także o lekach, które pacjent planuje stosować.

Lek może reagować z innymi lekami i produktami, zwłaszcza zawierającymi rtęć, produktami o

odczynie zasadowym oraz z tiosiarczanem sodu. Nie stosować u osób leczonych równocześnie

produktami litu. Nie stosować z innymi lekami lub produktami stosowanymi na skórę.

Ciąża i karmienie piersią

Jeśli pacjentka jest w ciąży lub karmi piersią, przypuszcza że może być w ciąży lub gdy planuje mieć

dziecko, powinna poradzić się lekarza lub farmaceuty przed zastosowaniem tego leku.

Lek może być stosowany w okresie ciąży jedynie, gdy lekarz zadecyduje, że jest to bezwzględnie

konieczne.

Stosowanie leku u kobiet w ciąży i karmiących piersią może wywołać zaburzenia rozwoju i czynności

tarczycy u płodu i noworodka.

Nie stosować do dezynfekcji pęknięć brodawek sutkowych w okresie karmienia piersią.

Prowadzenie pojazdów i obsługiwanie maszyn

Lek nie ma wpływu na zdolność prowadzenia pojazdów i obsługiwania maszyn.

Jak stosować lek PV Jod 10%

Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według

zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.

Lek PV Jod 10%, roztwór jest przeznaczony do stosowania miejscowego.

Do przemywania ran i skóry lek stosuje się bez rozcieńczenia.

Do płukania błony śluzowej jamy ustnej i pochwy stosuje się lek po rozcieńczeniu

przegotowaną wodą w stosunku 1 cz. leku : 10 cz. wody.

Roztwór zawsze należy sporządzać tuż przed jego zastosowaniem.

Nie wolno przechowywać rozcieńczonego roztworu.

Stosować raz lub kilka razy na dobę.

Nie stosować dłużej niż przez 14 dni.

Uwaga:

Podczas płukania jamy ustnej należy zachować szczególną ostrożność, aby pomyłkowo nie połknąć

leku.

W przypadku wrażenia, że działanie leku jest za mocne lub za słabe, należy zwrócić się do lekarza.

Zastosowanie większej niż zalecana dawki leku PV Jod 10%

Systematyczne wchłanianie jodu w przypadku długotrwałego stosowania leku na duże powierzchnie

skóry, ran ciała lub oparzeń (ponad 30%) może prowadzić do zaburzeń czynności tarczycy z objawami

wola, zmianą masy ciała oraz do innych objawów takich jak metaliczny posmak w ustach, ślinotok,

uczucie palenia lub pieczenia w ustach, podrażnienie i obrzęk powiek, obrzęk płuc, reakcje skórne,

zaburzenia żołądkowo-jelitowe, biegunka, kwasica metaboliczna (zaburzenie równowagi kwasowo-

zasadowej), hipernatremia (zwiększone stężenie sodu we krwi) oraz zaburzenia czynności nerek.

W razie użycia większej niż zalecana dawki leku, należy niezwłocznie zwrócić się do lekarza lub

farmaceuty.

W przypadku świadomego lub przypadkowego spożycia leku, należy natychmiast skontaktować się z

lekarzem.

Pominięcie zastosowania leku PV Jod 10%

Nie należy stosować dawki podwójnej w celu uzupełnienia pominiętej dawki.

4.

Możliwe działania niepożądane

Jak każdy lek, lek ten może powodować działania niepożądane, chociaż nie u każdego one wystąpią.

Po zastosowaniu leku mogą wystąpić miejscowe reakcje skórne (podrażnienia i odczyny

uczuleniowe).

Stosowanie na duże powierzchnie ran i oparzeń (ponad 30%), może prowadzić do wystąpienia

ogólnych objawów niepożądanych, takich jak kwasica metaboliczna (wymioty, bóle brzucha,

przyspieszony oddech), hipernatremia (zwiększone stężenie sodu we krwi) oraz zaburzenia czynności

nerek. W przypadku wystąpienia powyższych objawów należy odstawić lek i skontaktować się z

lekarzem.

Zgłaszanie działań niepożądanych

Jeśli wystąpią jakiekolwiek objawy niepożądane, w tym wszelkie objawy niepożądane niewymienione

w ulotce, należy powiedzieć o tym lekarzowi lub farmaceucie. Działania niepożądane można zgłaszać

bezpośrednio do Departamentu Monitorowania Niepożądanych Działań Produktów Leczniczych

Jak przechowywać lek PV Jod 10%

Przechowywać w zamkniętych opakowaniach, w temperaturze poniżej

25°C,

w celu ochrony przed

światłem.

Lek należy przechowywać w miejscu niewidocznym i niedostępnym dla dzieci.

Nie stosować tego leku po upływie terminu ważności zamieszczonego na pudełku.

Termin ważności oznacza ostatni dzień podanego miesiąca.

Leków nie należy wyrzucać do kanalizacji ani domowych pojemników na odpadki. Należy zapytać

farmaceutę, jak usunąć lek, których się już nie używa. Takie postępowanie pomoże chronić

środowisko.
