Należy zapoznać się z treścią ulotki przed zastosowaniem leku.

Należy zachować tę ulotkę, aby w razie potrzeby móc ją ponownie przeczytać.

Należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty, gdy potrzebna jest rada lub dodatkowa

informacja.

Lek ten został przepisany ściśle określonej osobie i nie należy go przekazywać innym, gdyż

może im zaszkodzić, nawet jeśli objawy ich choroby są takie same.

1. CO TO JEST LEK PROVIRON-25 I W JAKIM CELU SIĘ GO STOSUJE

Lek Proviron-25 uzupełnia niedobór męskich hormonów płciowych - androgenów, których stężenie

z wiekiem stopniowo się zmniejsza. Wskazany jest więc we wszystkich stanach spowodowanych

niedoborem androgenów wytwarzanych przez organizm.

Wskazania do stosowania

Zmniejszona wydolność organizmu w średnim i podeszłym wieku

Stosowanie leku Proviron-25 może usunąć lub znacznie złagodzić dolegliwości wynikające z

niedoboru androgenów, takie jak: zmniejszenie wydolności, szybkie męczenie się, osłabienie

zdolności zapamiętywania i koncentracji, zaburzenia popędu płciowego i potencji, drażliwość,

zaburzenia snu, nastroje depresyjne, ogólne dolegliwości wegetatywne (dolegliwości bólowe,

zaburzenia snu, zaburzenia łaknienia, zaburzenia seksualne).

Zaburzenia potencji

Przyjmowanie leku Proviron-25 usuwa zaburzenia potencji spowodowane niedoborem androgenów.

Jeżeli zaburzenia potencji spowodowane są dodatkowymi bądź innymi czynnikami, Proviron-25 może

być również stosowany jako lek wspomagający inne metody leczenia,

Hipogonadyzm

Lek Proviron-25 pobudza wzrost, rozwój oraz czynność narządów zależnych od androgenów. Jeżeli

niedobór androgenów występuje przed zakończeniem dojrzewania płciowego, Proviron-25 wspomaga

wykształcenie drugorzędowych cech płciowych męskich.

Proviron-25 usuwa objawy niedoboru androgenów w przypadku zaniku czynności gruczołów

płciowych po okresie dojrzewania.

Niepłodność

Przyczyną niepłodności może być zmniejszenie liczby plemników i niewydolność komórek Leydiga.

Stosowanie leku Proviron-25 może zwiększyć bądź znormalizować ilość i jakość plemników oraz

stężenie fruktozy w płynie nasiennym i tym samym zwiększyć szansę na zapłodnienie.

INFORMACJE WAŻNE PRZED ZASTOSOWANIEM LEKU PROVIRON-25

Kiedy nie stosować leku Proviron-25

- nadwrażliwość na mesterolon lub którykolwiek składnik leku;

- rak gruczołu krokowego;

- przebyte lub istniejące nowotwory wątroby.

Kiedy zachować szczególną ostrożność stosując lek Proviron-25

Androgenów nie należy stosować u osób zdrowych w celu rozwoju mięśni lub zwiększania

wydolności fizycznej.

Lek Proviron-25 jest wskazany do stosowania wyłącznie u mężczyzn.

Zaleca się regularne badania profilaktyczne gruczołu krokowego.

W czasie stosowania hormonów takich jak zawarty w leku Proviron-25 mesterolon, w rzadkich

przypadkach mogą wystąpić łagodne, lub jeszcze rzadziej złośliwe nowotwory wątroby, które mogą

prowadzić do wystąpienia zagrażających życiu krwawień do jamy brzusznej. W przypadku

wystąpienia dolegliwości w obrębie nadbrzusza, które nie ustępują samoistnie należy jak najszybciej

poinformować lekarza.

Stosowanie leku Proviron-25 z innymi lekami

Nie stwierdzono interakcji z innymi lekami.

Ciąża i karmienie piersią

Nie dotyczy.

Prowadzenie pojazdów i obsługa maszyn

Nie stwierdzono wpływu leku na zdolność prowadzenia pojazdów mechanicznych i obsługiwania

urządzeń mechanicznych w ruchu.

JAK STOSOWAĆ LEK PROVIRON-25

Lek należy zawsze stosować z zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza. W przypadku wątpliwości należy

ponownie skontaktować się z lekarzem lub farmaceutą.

Sposób stosowania

Tabletki należy połykać w całości, popijając płynem.

Zazwyczaj zalecane dawkowanie

Zmniejszona wydolność organizmu i zaburzenia potencji

Rozpoczęcie leczenia

Przyjmuje się 1 tabletkę leku Proviron-25 3 razy na dobę.

Kontynuacja leczenia

Przyjmuję się 1 tabletkę leku 1 do 2 razy na dobę.

Zaleca się kontynuację leczenia przez wiele miesięcy.

Hipogonadyzm (zaleca się długotrwałe leczenie)

W celu wykształcenia wtórnych cech płciowych męskich przyjmuje się 1 do 2 tabletek leku 3 razy na

dobę przez kilka miesięcy.

W celu podtrzymania leczenia zwykle wystarcza przyjmowanie 1 tabletki 2 do 3 razy na dobę.

Niepłodność - poprawa ilości i jakości plemników

Przyjmuje się 1 tabletkę leku Proviron-25 2 do 3 razy na dobę przez jeden cykl spermatogenezy, tzn.

przez ok. 90 dni. Jeżeli to konieczne leczenie należy powtórzyć po kilkutygodniowej przerwie.

Jeżeli niewydolność komórek Leydiga wystąpi po okresie dojrzewania, w celu zwiększenia stężenia

fruktozy w spermie przyjmuje się 1 tabletkę leku 2 razy na dobę przez kilka miesięcy.

Zastosowanie większej niż zalecana dawki leku Proviron-25

Lek Proviron-25 należy zawsze stosować zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza. W przypadku wątpliwości

należy ponownie skontaktować się lekarzem lub farmaceutą.

Na podstawie wyników badań toksyczności ostrej stwierdzono, że Proviron-25 jest lekiem

nietoksycznym. Po przypadkowym podaniu dawki nawet znacznie większej niż dawka zalecana nie

występuje ryzyko zatrucia.

4.

MOŻLIWE DZIAŁANIA NIEPOŻĄDANE

Jak każdy lek, lek Proviron-25 może powodować działania niepożądane, chociaż nie u każdego one

wystąpią.

W pojedynczych przypadkach może dojść do częstych lub długotrwałych erekcji - należy wówczas

zmniejszyć dawkę lub przerwać leczenie by uniknąć urazów prącia.

Jeśli nasili się którykolwiek z objawów niepożądanych lub wystąpią jakiekolwiek objawy

niepożądane nie wymienione w ulotce, należy powiadomić lekarza lub farmaceutę.

Zgłaszanie działań niepożądanych

Jeśli wystąpią jakiekolwiek objawy niepożądane, w tym wszelkie objawy niepożądane niewymienione

w ulotce, należy powiedzieć o tym lekarzowi lub farmaceucie, lub pielęgniarce. Działania

niepożądane można zgłaszać bezpośrednio do Departamentu Monitorowania Niepożądanych Działań

Produktów Leczniczych Urzędu Rejestracji Produktów Leczniczych, Wyrobów Medycznych

i Produktów Biobójczych:

Działania niepożądane można zgłaszać również podmiotowi odpowiedzialnemu.

bezpieczeństwa stosowania leku.

5. JAK PRZECHOWYWAĆ LEK PROVIRON-25

Przechowywanie: Bez specjalnych zaleceń.

Przechowywać w miejscu niedostępnym i niewidocznym dla dzieci.

Nie stosować po upływie terminu ważności zamieszczonego na opakowaniu. Termin ważności

oznacza ostatni dzień danego miesiąca.

Leków nie należy wyrzucać do kanalizacji lub domowych pojemników na odpadki. Należy zapytać

farmaceutę co zrobić z lekami, których się już nie potrzebuje. Takie postępowanie pomoże chronić

środowisko.

Co zawiera lek Proviron-25

Substancja czynną leku jest mesterolon.

Inne składniki leku to: laktoza jednowodna, skrobia kukurydziana, powidon 25 000, metylu

parahydroksybenzoesan, propylu parahydroksybenzoesan, magnezu stearynian.

Jak wygląda lek Proviron-25 i co zawiera opakowanie

Tabletki leku Proviron-25 są barwy białej.

Opakowanie zawiera 20 lub 30 tabletek.
