Co to jest Decapeptyl 0,1 mg i w jakim celu się go stosuje

Decapeptyl 0,1 mg zawiera tryptorelinę (w postaci octanu tryptoreliny). Jednym z jej działań jest

zmniejszanie wytwarzania przez organizm hormonów płciowych.

Decapeptyl 0,1 mg stosowany jest:

U mężczyzn:

do leczenia hormonozależnego raka gruczołu krokowego miejscowo zaawansowanego lub z przerzutami.

U kobiet:

do leczenia endometriozy (tworzenie się tkanki macicznej poza macicą).

Informacje ważne przed zastosowaniem leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

Kiedy nie stosować leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

jeśli pacjent ma uczulenie na tryptorelinę lub którykolwiek z pozostałych składników tego leku

(wymienionych w punkcie 6),

jeśli pacjent ma uczulenie na hormon uwalniający gonadotropiny (GnRH) lub jakikolwiek inny analog

GnRH.

U kobiet:

jeśli pacjentka jest w ciąży,

jeśli pacjentka karmi piersią.

Ostrzeżenia i środki ostrożności

Przed rozpoczęciem stosowania leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg należy omówić to z lekarzem.

U mężczyzn i kobiet

Istnieją doniesienia o występowaniu depresji u pacjentów przyjmujących lek Decapeptyl 0,1 mg, w tym

przypadków ciężkiej depresji. Jeśli w trakcie przyjmowania leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg wystąpią nastroje

depresyjne, należy poinformować o tym lekarza.

U mężczyzn

Należy zachować ostrożność:

jeśli u pacjenta występują trudności w oddawaniu moczu, bóle kostne, bóle mięśniowe, obrzęki

limfatyczne kończyn dolnych,

jeśli u pacjenta występują guzy przerzutowe w kręgosłupie lub drogach moczowych,

jeśli u pacjenta występują jakiekolwiek zaburzenia sercowo-naczyniowe, w tym zaburzenia rytmu serca

(arytmia), lub stosuje on leki do leczenia tych zaburzeń; ryzyko wystąpienia zaburzeń rytmu serca może

być zwiększone podczas stosowania leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg.

Należy powiadomić lekarza, jeśli pogorszy się którykolwiek z objawów choroby.

U kobiet

Należy zachować ostrożność:

jeśli w czasie leczenia występuje krwawienie w okresach między miesiączkami (z wyjątkiem pierwszego

miesiąca),

jeśli u pacjentki występuje zwiększone ryzyko zmniejszenia gęstości kości.

Leczenie lekiem Decapeptyl 0,1 mg przez kilka miesięcy może prowadzić do zmniejszenia masy kostnej.

Z tego powodu czas leczenia nie powinien przekraczać 6 miesięcy. Po przerwaniu leczenia masa kostna

ulega zwykle odbudowaniu w ciągu 6 do 9 miesięcy. Szczególną uwagę należy zachować u pacjentek

z dodatkowymi czynnikami ryzyka osteoporozy.

W pierwszym miesiącu leczenia należy stosować niehormonalną metodę antykoncepcji. Powinno się ją także

stosować od 4. tygodnia po ostatnim wstrzyknięciu do czasu ponownego pojawienia się krwawień

miesiączkowych lub do czasu zastosowania innej metody antykoncepcji.

Podczas leczenia lekiem Decapeptyl 0,1 mg ustają krwawienia miesiączkowe. Jeśli w czasie leczenia

utrzymują się regularne miesiączki, należy powiedzieć o tym lekarzowi.

Decapeptyl 0,1 mg a inne leki

Należy powiedzieć lekarzowi o wszystkich lekach przyjmowanych przez pacjenta obecnie lub ostatnio

a także o lekach, które pacjent planuje przyjmować.

Decapeptyl 0,1 mg może kolidować z niektórymi lekami stosowanymi do leczenia zaburzeń rytmu serca (np.

chinidyna, prokainamid, amiodaron i sotalol) lub może zwiększać ryzyko zaburzeń rytmu serca gdy

stosowany jest równocześnie z niektórymi innymi lekami [np. metadon (stosowany do zmniejszania bólu

i jako element detoksykacji narkotykowej), moksyfloksacyna (antybiotyk), leki przeciwpsychotyczne

stosowane do leczenia ciężkich zaburzeń psychicznych].

Należy zachować ostrożność, gdy tryptorelina jest podawana równocześnie z lekami wpływającymi na

wydzielanie gonadotropin przez przysadkę mózgową.

Ciąża i karmienie piersią

Leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg nie wolno stosować w ciąży i w okresie karmienia piersią.

Kobiety w wieku rozrodczym powinny stosować skuteczne, niehormonalne metody antykoncepcji.

Prowadzenie pojazdów i obsługiwanie maszyn

Nie ma żadnego znanego wpływu na zdolność prowadzenia pojazdów i obsługiwanie maszyn.

Jak stosować Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

Ten lek należy zawsze stosować zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do

lekarza.

Lek Decapeptyl 0,1 mg przeznaczony jest do wstrzykiwań podskórnych.

Zwykle stosuje się dawkę początkową 0,5 mg jeden raz na dobę przez 7 dni, a następnie dawkę

podtrzymującą 0,1 mg jeden raz na dobę.

Zastosowanie większej niż zalecana dawki leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

W przypadku zastosowania większej niż zalecana dawki leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg należy poinformować

o tym lekarza.

Pominięcie zastosowania leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

W przypadku pominięcia zastosowania leku Decapeptyl 0,1 mg należy poinformować o tym lekarza.

Jak każdy lek, lek ten może powodować działania niepożądane, chociaż nie u każdego one wystąpią.

U mężczyzn

Następujące, bardzo częste działania niepożądane występują u więcej niż 1 na 10 pacjentów:

Jak przechowywać Decapeptyl 0,1 mg

Lek należy przechowywać w miejscu niewidocznym i niedostępnym dla dzieci.

Nie stosować tego leku po upływie terminu ważności zamieszczonego na opakowaniu po napisie EXP.

Termin ważności oznacza ostatni dzień podanego miesiąca.

Przechowywać w lodówce (2˚C – 8˚C).

Przez okres jednego miesiąca można przechowywać w temperaturze poniżej 25˚C.

Przechowywać w oryginalnym opakowaniu w celu ochrony przed światłem.

Leków nie należy wyrzucać do kanalizacji ani domowych pojemników na odpadki. Należy zapytać

farmaceutę, jak usunąć leki, których się już nie używa. Takie postępowanie pomoże chronić środowisko.

Substancją czynną leku jest tryptorelina. 1 ml roztworu zawiera 0,1 mg tryptoreliny.

Pozostałe składniki to: sodu chlorek, kwas octowy lodowaty, woda do wstrzykiwań

Jak wygląda Decapeptyl 0,1 mg i co zawiera opakowanie

Lek Decapeptyl 0,1 mg, to przezroczysty, bezbarwny roztwór do wstrzykiwań w ampułkostrzykawkach

o pojemności 1 ml.

W kartonowym pudełku znajduje się 7 lub 28 ampułkostrzykawek.

Nie wszystkie wielkości opakowań muszą znajdować się w obrocie.
