Apa kegunaan Apo-Doxasozin

Doktor anda telah

mempreskripsikan APO-

DOXAZOSIN kepada anda

kerana anda mempunyai keadaan

perubatan yang dipanggil “

benign

prostatic hyperplasia

(pembesaran kelenjar prostat) atau

BPH. Kondisi ini hanya berlaku

pada lelaki. APO-DOXAZOSIN

juga boleh digunakan untuk

merawat tekanan darah tinggi

(hipertensi).

Bagaimana Apo-Doxazosin

berfungsi

APO-DOXAZOSIN menyekat

reseptor otot licin pada leher

pundi kencing dan kelenjar prostat

yang dipanggil “

alpha1-

adrenoceptors

”. Penyekatan ini

menyebabkan otot licin pada leher

pundi kencing dan kelenjar

prostat mengendur dan

mengurangkan ketegangan otot.

- Bila tidak boleh mengambil

Jangan ambil APO-DOXAZOSIN

jika anda alergik terhadap ubat ini

atau sebarang komponen yang

terdapat di dalamnya.

- Sebelum mula menggunakan

Apo-Doxazosin

Berikut adalah sebab-sebab

mengapa APO-DOXAZOSIN

tidak sesuai untuk penggunaan

anda:

Jika anda hamil atau

bercadang untuk hamil

Jika anda mempunyai

penyakit hati

Jika anda mempunyai

masalah jantung

Penggunaan APO-DOXAZOSIN

tidak digalakkan pada kanak-

kanak kerana keselamatan dan

keberkesanan untuk kanak-kanak

belum diketahui.

Penggunaan untuk warga tua:

APO-DOXAZOSIN harus

digunakan dengan berhati-hati

untuk warga tua kerana terdapat

kemungkinan hipotensi postur

(penurunan tekanan darah

disebabkan oleh perubahan dalam

kedudukan badan) boleh berlaku.

- Jika mengambil ubat-ubat lain

Tiada interaksi yang

memerlukan perhatian.

Beritahu doktor jika anda

menggunakan sebarang ubat

lain, termasuk ubat yang dibeli

tanpa preskripsi dari farmasi,

pasaraya, atau kedai makanan

kesihatan.

Cara menggunakan Apo-

Doxazosin

- Berapa banyak harus digunakan

Anda akan mulakan dengan 1 mg

dos APO-DOXAZOSIN sekali

sehari. Kemudian dos sekali

sehari itu akan dinaikkan selepas

badan anda biasa dengan kesan

ubat ini. Ikut arahan doktor anda

tentang cara untuk menggunakan

APO-DOXAZOSIN.

- Bila perlu digunakan

Anda boleh mengambil APO-

DOXAZOSIN sama ada pada

waktu pagi atau sebelum tidur.

Keberkesanan ubat ini sama pada

kedua-dua waktu tersebut.

- Berapa lama untuk digunakan

Anda harus mengambil ubat ini

setiap hari pada dos yang telah

disarankan. Bincang dengan

doktor anda jika anda tidak

mengambilnya untuk beberapa

hari atas sebab-sebab tertentu;

anda mungkin perlu

mengambilnya semula pada dos

1mg, naikkan dos anda secara

beransur-ansur dan sekali lagi,

anda mungkin mengalami pening-

pening.

- Jika terlupa menggunakan

Jangan risau. Ambil dos yang

telah disyorkan sebaik sahaja anda

teringat semula, melainkan sudah

hampir masa untuk dos yang

seterusnya. Jika begitu, ambil dos

yang seterusnya pada waktu yang

ditetapkan tanpa mengambil dos

yang telah terlepas.

- Jika mengambil berlebihan

(terlebih dos)

Jika anda terambil dos yang lebih

daripada yang disyorkan, hubungi

wad kecemasan yang berhampiran

atau beritahu doktor atau ahli

farmasi anda dengan segera.

Jangan lupa untuk bawa bekas

dan lebihan ubat ini bersama anda.

merawat anda bahawa anda

sedang menggunakan Apo-

Doxazosin

Beritahu doktor anda dengan

segera jika anda menjadi hamil

semasa menggunakan ubat ini.

Perkara yang tidak boleh

dilakukan

Jangan berhenti menggunakan

ubat ini kecuali diarahkan oleh

doktor anda.

Jangan mula mengambil sebarang

ubat baru tanpa berbincang

dengan doktor atau ahli farmasi

anda.

Jangan berkongsi Apo-Doxazosin

dengan sesiapa, walaupun mereka

mempunyai simptom atau

penyakit yang sama.

Perkara yang perlu diberi

perhatian

APO-DOXAZOSIN boleh

menyebabkan penurunan tekanan

darah secara mendadak selepas

dos pertama. Anda mungkin

merasa pening, pengsan atau

"ringan kepala", terutamanya

selepas anda bangun dari katil

atau dari kerusi. Ini mungkin lebih

kerap berlaku selepas anda telah

mengambil beberapa dos pertama,

tetapi boleh berlaku pada bila-bila

masa semasa anda mengambil

ubat ini. Ia juga boleh berlaku jika

anda berhenti mengambil ubat ini

dan kemudian memulakan semula

rawatan ini.

Memandu dan menggunakan

jentera

Ubat ini mungkin mengganggu

keupayaan anda untuk memandu

atau mengendalikan jentera, Jika

ubat ini menyebabkan anda terasa

loya, pening, letih, atau sakit

kepala, jangan memandu atau

mengendalikan jentera dan

hubungi doktor anda dengan

segera.

Kesan sampingan

Doxazosin boleh menyebabkan

hypotensi postur (tekanan darah

menurun secara mendadak) dan

menyebabkan anda hilang

kesedaran dan

tachycardia

(kadar

denyutan jantung cepat yang tidak

normal) berikutan dos permulaan.

Kesan sampingan yang lebih biasa

termasuk pening, perasaan

mengantuk, sakit kepala,

kekurangan tenaga, loya dan

palpitasi (dengupan jantung tak

normal yang dirasai sebagai

denyutan jantung cepat dan

deras). Kesan buruk yang lain

termasuk sakit dada, sembelit,

cirit-birit, muntah, kemurungan

dan cemas, gangguan tidur, rasa

pening, halusinasi,

paraesthesia

(perasaan ganjil seperti membakar

dan menusuk pada kulit), hidung

tersumbat, kekeringan mulut,

kekerapan kencing dan

inkontinens (

kencing yang tidak

dapat dikawal

)

Jangan gunakan ubat ini selepas

tarikh luput yang tertera pada

bekas ini.

Simpan APO-DOXAZOSIN pada

suhu bilik (di antara 15 - 25°C).

Jauhi daripada cahaya.

Sekiranya anda masih mempunyai

lebihan ubat ini selepas anda

hentikan pengambilannya atas

arahan doktor atau kerana anda
