Main fields of application:

For the combined cleaning and disinfection of bed
frames, instrument containers and surgical tables
in decontamination units.

Bactericidal activity and activity against enveloped
viruses are confirmed by certification.
Characteristics:

The working solution is pH-neutral within a
pH-range of 5 - 8 when using softened water.

Rapid action.
Application and Dosage:
neodisher Dekonta is suitable for use in decontami-
nation units. Dosage is effected via integrated dosing
units. Concentration, temperature and action time
depend on the respective machine type. The following
parameters are to be observed:
3 - 7 ml/l (0.3 – 0.7 %) at a temperature of at least
50 °C, action time depends on the respective machine
type.
The process-related germ reduction which is neces-
sary according to AK BWA has been proved exemplarily

neodisher Dekonta is compatible with neodisher rinse
aids which are recommended by us for the automated
reprocessing of bed frames, instrument containers and
surgical tables and which get into the decontamina-
tion solution via the rinse water.
When using deionised water for a decontamination
unit neodisher Dekonta has a working solution with
an acidic pH-value. This should be taken into account
when selecting the discharge lines. Eternit and cast-
iron pipes are not acid-resistant.
