Akne-mycin® 2000

Che cos'è Akne-mycin 2000 e quando si usa?

L'unguento Akne-mycin 2000 contiene come principio attivo l'antibiotico eritromicina. L'unguento si

usa su prescrizione del medico per la terapia locale di forme infiammatorie di acne con noduli e

pustole. L'eritromicina penetra nei dotti escretori delle ghiandole sebacee e vi esplica la sua azione

specialmente contro i batteri che partecipano in misura rilevante all'insorgenza dell'acne.

La base utilizzata per la preparazione dell'unguento ha la proprietà di mescolarsi col sebo cutaneo, di

cui in caso di acne vi è spesso un'eccessiva secrezione.

Lavandosi, poi, assieme all'Akne-mycin 2000 si elimina dalla superficie cutanea anche il sebo.

Quando non si può usare Akne-mycin 2000?

Non si può usare il medicamento in caso di ipersensibilità all'eritromicina, all'alcool cetostearilico o

ad un altro costituente del preparato.

Quando è richiesta prudenza nell'uso dell'Akne-mycin 2000?

La prudenza si impone se contemporaneamente prende degli antibiotici per bocca. L'azione di questi

medicamenti e quella dell'Akne-mycin 2000 possono ostacolarsi a vicenda.

Informi il suo medico o il suo farmacista nel caso in cui soffre di altre malattie, soffre di allergie o

assume o applica esternamente altri medicamenti (anche se acquistati di sua iniziativa!).

Si può usare Akne-mycin 2000 durante la gravidanza o l'allattamento?

Se è incinta, prevede una gravidanza o allatta, per precauzione rinunci ai medicamenti o li usi

soltanto in caso di urgente necessità.

Il medico decide se lei può far uso del medicamento durante la gravidanza o l'allattamento. Vuole

informare il suo medico se è incinta o desidera diventarlo.

Come usare Akne-mycin 2000?

Adulti ed adolescenti

Salvo diversa prescrizione, applicare mattina e sera un sottile strato di Akne-mycin 2000 sulle zone

di pelle colpite dall'acne.

Prima di una nuova applicazione di Akne-mycin 2000 bisogna prestare attenzione a quanto segue:

1.Eliminare i residui di medicamento con molta acqua tiepida, per togliere il sebo cutaneo

emulsionato col prodotto.

2.Asciugare sempre bene la pelle.

La terapia con Akne-mycin 2000 unguento non dovrebbe durare più di 4-6 settimane.

Bambini

Akne-mycin 2000 unguento non può essere usato dai bambini sotto i 12 anni poiché non sono

disponibili dati sulla sicurezza e sull'efficacia in questa fascia d'età.

Non modifichi di propria iniziativa la posologia prescritta. Se ritiene che l'azione del medicamento

sia troppe debole o troppe forte ne parli al suo medico o al suo farmacista.

Quali effetti collaterali può avere Akne-mycin 2000?

Con l'applicazione dell'Akne-mycin 2000 possono manifestarsi i seguenti effetti collaterli:

In molto pochi casi, all'inizio della terapia può manifestarsi un lieve arrossamento della pelle o una

leggera desquamazione. Questi fenomeni scompaiono spontaneamente proseguendo la terapia.

In casi molto rari i sintomi sopra descritti possono anche manifestare una reazione d'ipersensibilità

(eczema di contatto allergico).

Se osserva effetti collaterali qui non descritti, dovrebbe informare il suo medico o il suo farmacista.

Di che altro occorre tener conto?

Si eviti di usare contemporaneamente dei cosmetici, perché potrebbero pregiudicare l'effetto

dell'Akne-mycin 2000.

Akne-mycin 2000 non deve essere utilizzato oltre la data indicata con «EXP» sul contenitore.

Conservare a temperatura ambiente (15-25 °C) e fuori della portata dei bambini. Dopo l'apertura, il

preparato deve essere utilizzato entro 6 mesi.

darle ulteriori informazioni.
