1.Che cos’è Acido Tranexamico Accord e a cosa serve

Acido Tranexamico Accord contiene l’acido tranexamico, che appartiene a un

gruppo di farmaci chiamati antiemorragici, antifibrinolitici.

Acido tranexamico Accord è utilizzato negli adulti e nei bambini a partire da un

anno di età per la prevenzione e il trattamento di sanguinamenti dovuti a un

processo che inibisce la coagulazione del sangue chiamato fibrinolisi.

Le indicazioni specifiche sono:

- ciclo mestruale abbondante;

- sanguinamento gastrointestinale;

- disturbi emorragici alle vie urinarie, in seguito a interventi chirurgici alla

prostata o a procedure chirurgiche alle vie urinarie;

- interventi chirurgici all’ orecchio, al naso o alla gola;

- interventi chirurgici al cuore, all’addome o di tipo ginecologico;

- sanguinamenti successivi al trattamento con altri farmaci per sciogliere

coaguli di sangue.

2.Cosa deve sapere prima che le venga somministrato Acido

Tranexamico Accord

Non prenda Acido Tranexamico Accord se:

è allergico all’acido tranexamico o a uno qualsiasi degli altri componenti di

questo medicinale (elencati al paragrafo 6);

ha (o ha mai avuto) una malattia che porta alla formazione di coaguli di

sangue;

ha una condizione chiamata “coagulopatia da consumo” in cui il sangue

comincia a formare coaguli in diverse parti del corpo;

ha problemi ai reni;

ha avuto convulsioni in passato.

A causa del rischio di edema cerebrale e di convulsioni, l’iniezione intratecale e

intraventricolare e l’applicazione intracerebrale non sono raccomandate.

Se lei pensa che uno di questi punti la riguardi, o se ha qualsiasi altro dubbio,

parli con il suo medico prima di prendere Acido Tranexamico Accord.

Avvertenze e precauzioni

Informi il medico se uno dei seguenti punti la riguarda, per aiutarlo a decidere

se Acido Tranexamico Accord è adatto a lei:

se ha notato del sangue nell’urina, ciò potrebbe essere dovuto a

un’ostruzione delle vie urinarie;

se è a rischio di formazione di coaguli di sangue;

se ha eccessivi coaguli o sanguinamenti in tutto il corpo (coagulazione

intravascolare disseminata), Acido Tranexamico Accord può non essere

adatto a lei;

se ha avuto convulsioni Acido Tranexamico Accord non deve essere

somministrato. Il medico dovrà usare la dose minima possibile per evitare

convulsioni dovute al trattamento con Acido Tranexamico Accord;

se si sottopone a un trattamento prolungato con Acido Tranexamico Accord,

si deve prestare attenzione ai possibili disturbi della visione dei colori e, se

necessario, il trattamento deve essere interrotto. In caso di uso prolungato

oftalmologiche (esami oculistici compresi acuità visiva, visione dei colori,

fondo oculare, campo visivo, ecc.).

Altri medicinali e Acido Tranexamico Accord

Informi il medico o il farmacista se sta prendendo o ha preso di recente

qualsiasi altro medicinale, inclusi quelli senza prescrizione medica, vitamine,

minerali, medicine a base di erbe o integratori alimentari.

In particolar modo deve informare il suo medico se prende:

altri medicinali che favoriscono la coagulazione del sangue chiamati

antifibrinolitici;

medicinali

prevengono

coagulazione

sangue

chiamati

trombolitici;

contraccettivi orali.

Gravidanza e allattamento

Se è in corso una gravidanza, se sospetta o sta pianificando una gravidanza, o

se sta allattando con latte materno, chieda consiglio al medico o al farmacista

prima di prendere Acido Tranexamico Accord.

L’acido Tranexamico è escreto nel latte materno. Quindi l’uso di Acido

Tranexamico Accord non è raccomandato durante l’allattamento.

Guida di veicoli e utilizzo di macchinari

Non sono stati effettuati studi sulla capacità di guidare veicoli e di usare

macchinari.

3.Come prendere Acido Tranexamico Accord

Uso negli adulti

Trattamento della Fibrinolisi Locale:

La dose abituale è 500-1.000 mg (5-10 ml) due o tre volte al giorno.

Trattamento della Fibrinolisi Generale:

La dose abituale è 1.000 mg (10 ml) ogni 6-8 ore o fino a 15 mg per kg di

peso corporeo.

Uso nei bambini

Se Acido Tranexamico Accord è somministrato a un bambino a partire da un

anno, la dose sarà calcolata in base al peso del bambino.

Il medico deciderà la dose adatta al bambino e per quanto tempo dovrà

prenderla.

Uso negli anziani

Non è necessario ridurre la dose a meno che non vi sia comprovata

insufficienza renale.

Uso nei pazienti con problemi ai reni

Se ha problemi ai reni, la dose sarà ridotta. Il medico deciderà quale dose

somministrare sulla base di un esame del sangue.

Uso nei pazienti con compromissione epatica

Non è necessario ridurre la dose.

Modo di somministrazione

Acido Tranexamico Accord deve essere somministrato soltanto in vena

lentamente. Acido Tranexamico Accord non deve essere iniettato in un

muscolo.

Se le viene somministrato più Acido Tranexamico Accord della dose

raccomandata

Se le viene somministrato più Acido Tranexamico Accord della dose

raccomandata, può avere

un abbassamento transitorio della pressione (sensazione di debolezza o

vertigini in posizione eretta). Informi immediatamente il medico o il farmacista.

4.Possibili effetti indesiderati

Come tutti i medicinali, questo medicinale può causare effetti indesiderati

sebbene non tutte le persone li manifestino.

Se manifesta uno qualsiasi degli effetti indesiderati elencati dopo la

somministrazione del medicinale, si rivolga immediatamente al medico. Se non

è in ospedale, vi si DEVE recare immediatamente. Questi effetti indesiderati

sono rari ma gravi.

Grave reazione allergica che può includere eruzione cutanea rossa e

grumosa, difficoltà respiratorie, gonfiore del viso, della bocca, delle

labbra o delle palpebre, inspiegabile temperatura elevata (febbre) e

sensazione di svenimento. Se il gonfiore colpisce la gola e rende difficili la

respirazione e la deglutizione, si rechi immediatamente in ospedale.

Sintomi di un coagulo di sangue che possono includere gonfiore o dolore

alle gambe o al torace, mal di testa, debolezza del volto e degli arti su un

lato del corpo.

Altri effetti indesiderati che possono verificarsi:

Comune (può interessare fino a 1 persona su 10)

nausea

vomito

diarrea

Non comune (può interessare fino a 1 persona su 100)

eruzione cutanea

malessere con ipotensione (pressione sanguigna bassa), in particolare se

l’iniezione è stata somministrata troppo rapidamente;

5.Come conservare Acido Tranexamico Accord

Conservi questo medicinale fuori dalla vista e dalla portata dei bambini.

Questo medicinale non richiede particolari condizioni di conservazione. Non usi

questo medicinale dopo la data di scadenza che è riportata sulla scatola e

sull’etichetta della fiala dopo “Scad.”. La data di scadenza si riferisce all’ultimo

giorno di quel mese. Il medico o il farmacista effettueranno questo controllo

prima che le venga somministrata l’iniezione.

Le fiale non aperte non richiedono particolari precauzioni per la conservazione.

Il principio attivo è acido tranexamico.

5 ml di soluzione contengono 500 mg di acido tranexamico.

10 ml di soluzione contengono 1.000 mg di acido tranexamico.

L’altro componente è acqua per preparazioni iniettabili.

INFORMAZIONI GENERALI

Acido Tranexamico Accord 100 mg/ml soluzione iniettabile è solo per uso

singolo. Qualsiasi porzione non utilizzata della fiala deve essere eliminata.

INDICAZIONI TERAPEUTICHE

Profilassi/trattamento di emorragia a causa di fibrinolisi generale o locale negli

adulti e nei bambini di più di un anno a causa di:

Menorragia e metrorragia;

Sanguinamento gastrointestinale;

Disturbi urinari emorragici, a seguito di un intervento chirurgico alla prostata

o di operazioni del tratto urinario;

Intervento chirurgico all’ orecchio, al naso e alla gola;

Chirurgia ginecologica od ostetrica;

Chirurgia toracica e addominale;

Complicanze emorragiche in associazione alla terapia trombolitica.

POSOLOGIA E MODO DI SOMMINISTRAZIONE

Acido Tranexamico Accord 100 mg/ml soluzione iniettabile deve essere

somministrato mediante iniezione endovenosa lenta secondo la posologia

riportata di seguito.

DOSE TERAPEUTICA

Adulti

Fibrinolisi Locale: 5-10 ml (500-1.000 mg) mediante iniezione endovenosa lenta

(1 ml/min), due o tre volte al giorno.

Fibrinolisi Generale: 10 ml (1.000 mg) mediante iniezione endovenosa lenta

(1ml/min), ogni 6-8 ore, equivalenti a 15 mg per kg di peso corporeo.

Bambini

A partire da un anno, per le indicazioni attualmente approvate, il dosaggio è

nell’ordine di 20 mg/kg/giorno.

Anziani

Non è necessario ridurre la dose a meno che non vi sia comprovata

insufficienza renale.

Insufficienza renale:

A causa del rischio di accumulo, la dose deve essere ridotta secondo la

seguente tabella:
