HelloLife, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is initiating a voluntary recall of four different products, Neuroveen, Respitrol, Thyroveev and Compulsin, within expiry, to the retail and consumer level due to possible microbial contamination. Neuroveen has been tested and found to be contaminated with Staphylococcus saprophyticus and Burkholderia cepacia. Compulsin has been identified as containing Burkholderia cepacia. Respitrol and Thyroveev are still pending bacterial identification. Each product being recalled...

Expanded Recall: Medline Canada, Corp. recalls Various Medline Cosmetic Products

The recalled products may be contaminated with the bacteria Burkolderia cepacia. Burkolderia cepacia can pose a risk of infections to consumers, especially those with weakened immune systems. Contamination of the bacteria has only been confirmed for the Remedy Essentials Cleanser No Rinse Foam that was includedin the previous recall.

Medline Remedy Essentials No-Rinse Cleansing Foam: Avoid Using - Multistate Outbreak of Burkholderia Cepacia Complex

CDC reports that there are 10 confirmed cases of infection caused by bacteria within the Burkholderia cepacia complex, also commonly called B. cepacia, in three states: California (2), Pennsylvania (7), and New Jersey (1). These patients were already hospitalized for acute conditions and acquired the infections while hospitalized. The infections have been linked to the Medline product, Remedy Essentials No-Rinse Cleansing Foam.
