Do NOT contaminate any ponds, dams, streams or any other natural water systems with

any rinsate from sprayed areas, unused spray mix, used containers or products powder.

Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of

undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler

or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty

packaging to an approved waste management facility. If an approved waste management

facility is not available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal

pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation

and tree roots, in compliance with relevant local, state or territory government regulations.

Do not burn empty containers or product. If there is excess spray mix to dispose of, it is

best sprayed lightly over the entire surface already treated.

Safety Directions:

The product is strongly acidic. Corrosive. Attacks eyes and skin. Will irritate the nose and

throat. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale dust. When opening the container

and preparing product for use wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or

equivalent clothing), PVC or rubber apron, elbow-length chemical resistant gloves and face

shield or goggles and impervious footwear. Wash hands after use. After each day's use,

wash gloves, face shield or goggles and contaminated clothing.

Fill a suitable container with water adding 50 grams of

stir until dissolved. Provide two hand brushes with every

foot dip - one to remove organic matter prior to

disinfection and one to use within the foot dip to wash

the boot. The presence of organic matter will reduce the

efficacy of the dip. Solution should be replaced on a

daily basis or earlier if contaminated.

Prior to entering the site vehicles should have their

wheels and wheel arches cleaned of mud and organic

deposits.

Vehicles should then pass through a wheel dip

filled with, or have its wheels sprayed with, a solution of

Virkon® S.

NERAL INSTRUCTIONS - For effective control of viruses, bacteria and fungi, can be applied to surfaces to

clean and disinfect in a one step operation. Virkon® S is intended to disinfect inanimate environmental surfaces,

glasshouse structures, equipment, utensils, trays, containers, and vehicles in greenhouses and other horticultural

settings prior to introduction or reintroduction of plants, seeds, or soil. It is not intended to directly affect agricultural

production and must not be applied to plants, seeds, or soil. If necessary, remove or cover these items prior to use

of the product.

Efficacy of Virkon™ in the face of COVID-19.

With the exceptional situation we are currently experiencing, it is important to have the best prevention methods to

protect your employees, colleagues and customers.

Official Statement:

"DIN-approved disinfectants which have received market authorization for a "broad spectrum virucide" claim (i.e.,

have proven efficacy against a hard-to-kill non-enveloped virus), are expected to inactivate less resistant enveloped

viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).

Therefore, in choosing a hard surface disinfectant to be used against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19),

any disinfectant with a "broad spectrum virucide" claim would be appropriate, as it would be expected to also

inactive SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19)."

The product Virkon™ is a broad-spectrum virucidal hard surface disinfectant.

Independent studies have demonstrated Virkon™ to be effective against the following five coronaviruses, Canine

Coronavirus, Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus, Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus, Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus

and Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus. Virkon™ is expected to also inactivate SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes

COVID-19).

From these tests it can be concluded that Virkon™ is expected to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 which is causing

the current COVID-19 epidemic at an in-use dilution rate of 1:100.*

- Directions for use

Dilution rate:

- 1 tablet per 500 mL of water

- OR 10 g of powder per litre of water for a 1% solution.

The 1% dilution (1 tablet in 500 mL or 10 g in 1 L of water) is

recommended for the different coronaviruses with a contact

time of 10 minutes. You can use it on hard surfaces, equipment and instruments.

active ingredient but, they have different efficacy datasets (against disease-causing pathogens) specifically

targeted for use in two distinct disease prevention and control market segments.

Rely

Virkon

has been developed specifically for use in the Human Health market sector and, as such, has

been tested and proven effective against disease-causing pathogens of specific concern to human health. It is

used for the disinfection and decontamination of hard surfaces, floors, walls, doors and door handles, furniture,

cabinets, centrifuges and pipette discard jars etc. in:

Medical Facilities (Hospitals and Doctors Surgeries)

With regard to the current global Coronavirus situation, independent tests have proven that Rely

Virkon

inactivates a closely related surrogate of the currently spreading coronavirus strain. From these tests it can be

concluded that Rely

Virkon

would also be effective against SARS-CoV-2 which is causing the current

COVID-19 epidemic at an in-use dilution rate of 1:100.

Conversely, Rely

Virkon

has not been tested against pathogens of 'animal origin' that affect animal health

and as such, due to global product registrations and regulatory compliance, it cannot be used for routine

biosecurity and emergency disease prevention and control measures in the livestock and poultry production market

segments.

The same is true for Virkon

S. It was developed specifically for the animal health, livestock and poultry production

market segments where 'real-farm' conditions such as the environmental challenges of high organic loading,

varying temperatures and weather conditions can have a direct effect on a disinfectants performance. Virkon

does have proven efficacy against ‘animal origin’ Coronaviruses however we would only recommend using

Virkon

against SARS-CoV-2. Virkon™ S should not be used within Human Health facilities or on
