SKUNKSHOT GEL

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

HOW TO USE: SkunkShot contains a dilute mixture of the same chemicals used by

the North American Skunk to spray animals that attack it: wolves, cougars, foxes,

dogs and bobcats. Naturally, it is very smelly. Because of this you should take some

simple precautions:

SkunkShot is an outdoors product. Never open or use SkunkShot indoors.

If you accidentally get SkunkShot on your skin or clothing first wash with soap and

warm water. The smell can be neutralised by applying a weak solution of

household bleach (a capful in half a bucket of water); and then rinsing with clean

water.

GARDEN & LAWN USE: Apply dabs of SkunkShot near ground level on anything

convenient: rocks, branches, plantpots, etc. or directly onto the ground or lawn. The

coverage will vary with local conditions, animals, etc., but try four “dabs” per square

metre to start with.

RUBBISH BAGS: Smear a dab of SkunkShot on your bag in several places around

the sides of the bag. We suggest four dabs should be sufficient.

Use SkunkShot over the AREA to be protected, not just on the border.

Note: While SkunkShot is strongly odourous, if used as directed the odour should not

be easily detectable by people from 1 day after application. One application should

remain effective for approximately three weeks.

SkunkShot is waterproof and does not need to be replaced after rain. By “dabs” we

mean very small quantities, light smears, 1-5mm long, rather than “big globs”.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. After

opening SkunkShot the tube should be stored, with the activated charcoal sachet

provided, in an outer bottle.

Dispose of used tube, and outer bottle together with activated charcoal sachet by

wrapping in paper or a plastic bag and putting in garbage bin.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS: May irritate the nose and throat. Do not inhale vapour. Open

container in the open air. Wash hands after use.

FIRST AID DIRECTIONS: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons

Information Centre. Phone Australia 131 126, New Zealand 0800 764 766
