GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

CROPSHIELD

is made from highly refined mineral base oil blended with non-ionic

emulsifier designed to be used for its wetting and penetrating properties. When using

CROPSHIELD

in conjunction with wettable powders such as Atrazine, please contact

your local reseller for application rates.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Follow the directions on the herbicide label. CROPSHIELD

should be added last to the

spray tank. Agitate well to mix thoroughly.

CROP SAFETY

Follow directions on herbicide label. The use of spraying oil in conjunction with

Hoegrass® may reduce selectivity.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK, FISH CRUSTACEA AND ENVIRONMENT

Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used container.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed original container in a cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for

prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before

disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If

recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection

point.

If not recycling break, crush, puncture and bury the containers below 500mm in a

disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of water ways, desirable

vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.

REFILLABLE CONTAINERS

For 110L, 1000L and bulk containers empty contents fully into application equipment.

Close all valves and return to point of supply for refilling or storage.

FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre (Phone

131126). If swallowed do not induce vomiting, give a glass of water.

4 . F I R S T A I D M E A S U R E S

Eye contact:

Notification procedures:

Report spills as required to appropriate authorities such as the local

Environmental Health Officer or Fire Brigade. If spills are likely to

enter any drain, waterway or groundwater, contact the Area Water

Authority. In case of accident or road spill, contact the Police and

Fire Brigade, and if appropriate the Area Water Authority.

Environmental precautions:

Prevent spills from entering sewers, drains etc and contact with soil

areas.

Decontamination procedures:

Contain spill and absorb in earth, sand or other suitable inert

absorbent material. Collect solids into a suitably labelled sealable
