HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION:

Toxicology: Non poisonous and non-corrosive

Skin: The formulation, being neutral salts, has no corrosive effect and will only cause

irritation to people who have histories of dermal allergy or who have skin which is sensitive

to any material

Eyes: Contact with the eye will cause irritation similar to that experienced with a salt

solufion. Corrosive damage may occur

Inhalation: As product is water based, problems with inhalation are not likely to arise

Dermal Sensitisation: There is no evidence of chemical sensitisation

Allergic Sensitisation: Allergic sensitisation is not expected and there have been no

reported cases

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION:

The residue ions are not only non poisonous but are composed of the elements Hydrogen,

Oxygen and Phosphorus which are appropriate to life and are comparatively inert. The

only reaction which can take place in the body or the environment is oxidation to the

phosphate which is both essential and beneficial for life.

The residue cannot be transformed into other forms which could lead to carcinogenicity or

mutagenicity etc. There are no isomers or products of metabolic degradation.

The residue is not accumulated in the body. It is quickly excreted via the renal system and

sometimes in the faeces.

The residue is safe to lower life forms,

As with any chemical, ingestion, inhalation and prolonged or repeated skin contact should

be avoided by good occupational work practices.

STORAGE:

Store in a, cool dry place not in direct sunlight, avoid frost.

FIRE HAZARDS:

This product is non-flammable and will not support combustion. The type of extinguisher to

be used will depend on other products present.

SPILLAGE:

Small spillage- can be washed away with water, large spillage should be contained,

absorbed with sand, soil or other suitable material, placed in a container and disposed of

in accordance with local regulations. Care should be taken to ensure product is kept away

from water courses.
