Cleaning and disinfecting agent

for the manual pre-treatment of

Liquid concentrate

www.drweigert.com

neodisher endo

preDIS

Fields of application:

Disinfecting pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes

and endoscopic accessories in immersion baths

resp. ultra-sonic baths

Performance spectrum:

Active against bacteria, yeasts and enveloped

viruses

The disinfecting activity was proved by European

standards and DGHM

methods

Suitable for stainless steel, anodized aluminium,

non-ferrous metals (copper and brass), plastic

(incl. silicone)

listed

Included in the IHO list of virucidal products

Special properties:

Excellent cleaning performance, no

protein-fixation

Excellent material compatibility

Free of aldehydes and quaternary ammonium

compounds

Application and dosage:

neodisher endo preDIS is used in immersion

baths or ultra-sonic baths.

A neodisher endo preDIS working solution with

the below-mentioned concentration is prepared.

Endoscopes or endoscopic accessories are

placed in the working solution, observing the

below-mentioned contact time according to the

instructions of the instrument manufacturer. All

surfaces must be completely wetted with the

working solution. Air bubbles must be removed.

In an ultra-sonic bath the treatment time should

not exceed the time

given in the instructions of the instrument

manufacturer.

After that the neodisher endo preDIS working

solution must be thoroughly rinsed off and the

endoscopes/the endoscopic accessories have to

undergo a further reprocessing.

The following parameters are to be observed for

achieving the stated performance spectrum:

Application recommendation (20 °C)

Disinfecting

pre-cleaning

15 ml/l (1.5 %), 15 min

For preparing the neodisher endo

preDIS working

solution the use of softened water or soft water

with less than 10 °d (German hardness) is

recommended. The water hardness should not

exceed 20 °d.

The neodisher endo preDIS working solution

must be renewed daily, in the case of visible

soiling the solution should be changed more

often. Low residual amounts of

neodisher endo preDIS, which could still adhere

to the endoscope and be carried over into the

washer-disinfector for flexible endoscopes, do

not lead to process-inhibiting foam loads or a

drop in pressure of the circulation pumps.

Before and after the treatment with

neodisher endo preDIS no aldehyde-containing

products should be used.

For the subsequent automated reprocessing we

recommend the alkaline-enzymatic cleaning

agent neodisher endo CLEAN and the

disinfectant neodisher endo SEPT PAC.
