4.1. Description of first aid measures

General information

Remove contaminated, soaked clothing immediately and dispose of safely. Clean body thoroughly (bath,

shower). In any case show the physician the Safety Data Sheet.

After inhalation

Ensure supply of fresh air. When spray fog inhaled, seek medical aid.

After skin contact

After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Take medical treatment.

After eye contact

In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately for at least 15 minutes with plenty of water. Summon

a doctor immediately.

After ingestion

If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Rinse mouth thoroughly

with water. Let plenty of water be drunk in small gulps. Do not induce vomiting.

With the above information, which is appropriate to our current knowledge we describe

our product regarding possible safety necessities, but we do not involve any quality description

or promise certain properties.

Main fields of application:

For application in dishwashers of canteen kitchens, hotels, and hospitals.

Characteristics:

neodisher Alka 480 is a liquid, alkaline cleaner of good starch-removing and oxidizing

effectiveness, and good water hardness setting. neodisher Alka 480 can be used for the

removal of food residues of all kinds, even dried residues are removed reliably.

Does not attack porcelain, stainless steel, and common plastic dish pieces. Not suitable

for aluminum, eloxal, and light metal alloys.

Application and dosage:

Can be used for all water hardnesses.

2 – 3 ml/l within the temperature range from 55 to 65 °C.

Subsequently the neodisher 480-solution has to be rinsed out completely by

sufficient rinsing.

Do not mix with other products. Rinse out dosing system including hose with water

before changing product. Only for professional use.

Technical data:

Density (20 °C): 1.4 g/cm

pH value (determined in fully deionized water at 20 °C) 2-3 ml/l:11.5 – 12.2

Conductivity (determined in fully deionized water at 60 °C) 3 g/l : 2.2 mS/cm

Titration factor: 0.94 (in accordance with neodisher titration instructions)

Ingredients:

< 5 % chlorine-based bleaching agents

15 – 30 % phosphates

Storage information:

Heat-sensitive. Limited storage time due to slow degradation of contained active chlorine.

Protect from frost and from direct sunlight.
