suitable

treatment of infections due to susceptible organisms in dogs, cats, sheep,

Amoxycillin is also recommended for prophylactic use post-operatively.

General infections

mastitis in cattle.

Alimentary tract infections

including gastritis, gastro-enteritis and enteritis.

Secondary bacterial infections

Amoxycillin is effective against many of the secondary bacterial infections

associated with viral diseases such as bovine viral pneumonia and feline

influenza.

Urogenital tract infections

including cystitis, nephritis and metritis. The high level of antibiotic

obtained in the kidneys and urine make amoxycillin especially effective

in these urinary tract infections.
