HEALTH EFFECTS
ACUTE
Swallowed:
Harmful. May lead to nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Eye:
Mild irritant.
Skin:
Non-irritant. May lead to sensitisation reactions in certain
individuals.
Inhaled:
Does not present an inhalation problem.
CHRONIC
Due to the presence of Neomycin Sulphate, prolonged or repeated
exposure may lead to
malabsorption syndrome with diarrhoea. Allergic and sensitisation
reactions may occur in certain
individuals.
FIRST AID
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre,
phone 131126.

Swallowed:
Rinse mouth with water. Give plenty of water or bland fluids to drink.
DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical advice. Show this MSDS to
a medical practitioner.
Eye:
