Tracesure
®
Calf boluses should be delivered orally using a suitable Animax
applicator. Always use a crush or handling system. Care should be
taken during
supplementation to avoid injury to the mouth and pharynx. For full
application
instructions refer to the pack insert.
DOSAGE
BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE
PRODUCT
OTHER THAN AS DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.

Animals weighing 75-200 kg: 1 bolus

Do not exceed the stated dose and frequency without consulting a
veterinarian

Each sustained release bolus contains 1,700 mg iodine (as potassium
iodide
and calcium iodate), 500 mg cobalt (as cobalt sulphate) and 250 mg
selenium
(as sodium selenite)



KEEP OUT OF THE REACH AND SIGHT OF CHILDREN

Do not give to pre-ruminants and ensure that requirements for rumen
development have been met before giving to young ruminants as
otherwise t
oxicity may be a risk

Do NOT administer in areas where herbage is of high selenium content
or in
animals with normal or high GSHPx (selenium) blood levels

No further selenium supplementation to be given for six months post
bolus
application unless diagnosis of selenium deficiency is confirmed.
STORAGE
Store in original packaging in cool dry
conditions out of direct sunlight. Store
below 25°C. Protect from freezing.
