ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride
100 mg/mL in an aqueous solution.
INDICATIONS: Treatment of all infections in cattle,
swine and sheep caused by oxytetracycline
susceptible bacteria.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For intravenous
or intramuscular use. Inject at the rate of 3 mL per
45 kg body weight once daily for 2 to 3 days. See
package insert for complete directions.
CAUTIONS: Occasional sensitivity (anaphylaxis) to
oxytetracycline has been known to occur. In such
cases, administer epinephrine immediately.
WARNINGS: In lactating dairy cattle, no more than
10 mL of this product should be injected
intramuscularly at one injection site. Milk taken
from treated animals during treatment and within
72 hours after latest treatment must not be used as
food. Treated animals must not be slaughtered for
use in food for at least 18 days after the latest
treatment with this drug. Keep out of reach of
children.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature, between 15°
and 25°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
