Therapeutic indications:

The LCS Complete Metal Backed Porocoat Patella is constructed from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) with a Porocoat (sintered Co-Cr-Mo alloy beads) coated metal back and articulates with the LCS femur. Three metal pegs located on the underside of the patella fixate into the resected patella bone. The LCS Complete Metal Backed Porocoat Patella is one component within the LCS Complete Total Knee System and is indicated for non-cemented use for total knee arthoplasty in cases of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
