HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Health Effects
Acute:
Swallowed:
Metallic taste in mouth. Burning sensation in throat and
vomiting are typical effects.
Eye:
May cause eye irritation.
Skin:
May cause skin irritations and discoloration of the skin.
Inhaled:
Can cause irritation of nasal passages and throat.
Chronic:
Repeated exposure to the dust and fumes can damage the
liver and/or lungs. Exposure may cause skin allergy or
dermatitis.
First Aid
Swallowed:
If poisoning occurs, contact a Doctor or Poisons Information
Centre. Seek medical advice immediately.
Eye:
If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical advice immediately.
Skin:
If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and
wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical
attention if irritation persists.
Inhaled:
Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if not breathing.
