Bentyl (dicyclomine) and Librax (chlordiazepoxide and clidinium bromide) are prescribed to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Librax is also used to treat stomach ulcers and intestinal disorders. Bentyl is an anticholinergic and Librax is a combination of a benzodiazepine and an anticholinergic/spasmolytic. The brand name Librax is no longer available in the U.S. Generic versions may be available.
