ACTIVE SUBSTANCE: 
Doxycycline hyclate 
 
500 mg 
(equivalent to 433 mg doxycycline base)

CLINICAL PARTICULARS 
 
4.1 
TARGET SPECIES  
 
Sows, broiler breeders and laying hens. 
 
4.2 
INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES  
 
SOWS: 
Treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms that are susceptible to doxycycline such as: 

  Atrophic rhinitis caused by _Pasteurella_ spp. and _Bordetella bronchiseptica_; 

  Bronchial pneumonia caused by _Pasteurella multocida_, _Streptococcus suis_ and _Mycoplasma _
_hyorhinis_; 

  Pleuropneumonia caused by _Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae_. 
 
BROILER BREEDERS AND LAYING HENS : 

  Pasteurellosis caused by _Pasteurella multocida_; 

  Respiratory infections caused by _Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale_ (ORT). 
 
The presence of the disease in the herd should be established before treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS  
 
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines; 
Do not use in animals with renal or hepatic disorders; 
Do not use in case of known resistance
