DO NOT Contaminate streams,rivers or waterways with the chemical or
used containers.
STORAGE
AND DISPOSAL
Store away from heat,
alkalies, oxididising agents.
Open drums carefully to release any internal
pressure.
Avoid splashing
and
spilling.
Do not inhale mist or vapour. Clean up spills immediately. Contain
large
spills and neutralise under controlled conditions with sodium
carbonate, ensure adequate ventilation or
wear breathing apparatus in confined
spaces as protection against
released carbon dioxide, then flush to
sewer with excess water.
Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add
rinsings to spray tank.. Do not dispose of
undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling.replace cap and return clean
containers to recycler or designated
col-
lection point.
If not recycling, break, crush,
or puncture empty
containers in a local authority landfill.
If
no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500 mm in a
disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose cle
