General Wound Cleansing: Use generously by either jet spray or fine
mist setting to remove imbedded dirt, grit and coagulum from affected
area. The residue of solution left on the wound will promote sloughing
of dead tissue. The cleansing action of DERMACLENS
®
creates a
suitable environment for the regeneration of healthy tissue.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Consult the National Poisons Centre on 13 1126 or
a doctor immediately in every case
of suspected chemical poisoning. Never give fluids or induce vomiting
if a patient is unconscious or
convulsing regardless of cause of injury. If medical advice/attention
is needed, have this SDS, product
container or label at hand.
SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS OF EXPOSURE: May result in nausea, headache and
abdominal disturbances.
INHALATION: Is unlikely to present an inhalation problem. If
respiratory symptoms do occur, remove patient

TECHNICAL NOTES
ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS
Propionic acid 35 mg/mL
Malic acid 15 mg/mL
Propylene glycol 78.5 mg/mL
ACTIONS
Propionic acid and malic acid are chemical debriding agents which
remove scabs and necrotic tissue from wounds and skin lesions.
Propylene glycol has an emulsifying action. The spray is buffered to
pH 6 to provide a suitable physiological environment for the
regeneration of new tissue.
INDICATIONS
Wounds and skin disorders in cattle, horses, dogs and cats.
PRECAUTIONS
Remove all residues from teats and udders with soapy water and dry
prior to milking.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS
Avoid contact with eyes due to possible irritant or damaging effects.
FIRST AID
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre.
In Australia phone 13 1126. Rinse eyes thoroughly with water for
at least 20 minutes if contact occurs.
