Functional description

The Curved Femoral Introducer Sheath is a long, flexible 12Fr cannula that has a curved tip to aid in the

guidance and placement of snaring instruments. It is designed to add directional control to the Helical

Loop Basket/Tip Deflecting Wire Guide combination or to the Needle's Eye Snare. It is also useful when

the intra-atrial position of the pacemaker is difficult to access with the Straight Inner Femoral Sheath.

Intended purpose

This device is for use in patients requiring the percutaneous retrieval of indwelling catheters, cardiac leads,

fragments of catheter tubing or wire guides and other foreign objects.
