The steerer tube collar on the affected products may crack if exposed to corrosion which may cause the rider to loose control, posing fall and injury hazards. As of December 18, 2018, the company has not received any reports of incidents in Canada, and no report of injuries.

FDA allows marketing of a new device, the Bose Hearing Aid, intended to amplify sounds for individuals 18 years or older with perceived mild to moderate hearing impairment (hearing loss). This is the first hearing aid authorized for marketing by the FDA that enables the user to fit, program and control the hearing aid on his or her own, without assistance from a health care provider.

The European Medicines Agency has reviewed the adverse events of Bravecto®, a veterinary medicine used to treat flea and tick infestations in dogs. The conclusion is that the medicine may on very rare occasions cause convulsions in dogs – primarily in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy.
