GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

This product is effective against black or brown clinging algae, green floating algae and pink

slime when used as directed. Treat algae as soon as detected as old algae is more difficult to kill

and may require multiple applications. To prevent algae growth, always maintain a free chlorine

reading as per the following chart and use a regular maintenance dose of

The correct free chlorine level should be maintained for several hours prior to and during

swimming activity. Chlorine levels and pH should be tested daily by use of a reliable test kit

using fresh testing reagents. If pH falls below the required level, add

BioGuard Balance Pak

Stabiliser levels MUST be tested fortnightly by your local pool shop or by use of a reliable test kit.

level. INSTEAD, use an unstabilised chlorine product to maintain free chlorine levels. If stabiliser

concentration needs to be reduced, consult your BioGuard dealer.

Adjust pool as per chart above.

Brush algae spots vigorously.

Vacuum pool then turn off pump.

After 4 hours, when water is still, apply 125 g per 10,000 litres directly over affected areas

and leave overnight.

Next morning, brush algae, vacuum pool and backwash filter.

Add initial dosage of

algae, keep pump circulating water continuously for 24 hours then vacuum to waste and
