GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
This product is effective against black or brown clinging algae, green
floating algae and pink
slime when used as directed. Treat algae as soon as detected as old
algae is more difficult to kill
and may require multiple applications. To prevent algae growth, always
maintain a free chlorine
reading as per the following chart and use a regular maintenance dose
of
BIOGUARD BACK-UP
ALGAE INHIBITOR
.
The correct free chlorine level should be maintained for several hours
prior to and during
swimming activity. Chlorine levels and pH should be tested daily by
use of a reliable test kit
using fresh testing reagents. If pH falls below the required level,
add
BIOGUARD BALANCE PAK
200
. If pH rises above the required level, add
BIOGUARD LO’N’SLO
. Dose pool in the evening
when the pool is not in use.
Stabiliser levels MUST be tested fortnightly by your local pool shop
or by use of a reliable test kit.
Once stabiliser levels reach 100 mg/L, DO NOT use this product until
stabiliser falls below that
level. INSTEAD, use an unstabilised chlorine product to maintain free
chlorine levels. If stabiliser
concentration needs to be reduced, consult your BioGuar
