HOW TO USE:

Kleen Lawn is a selective weedkiller for use on Couch, Bent and Kikuyu

lawns for the control of Clovers, Pearlwort, Chickweed, Docks, Lambs Tongue,

Dandelion, Plantains, and other broad leaf weeds. Do not use on Buffalo Lawns.

The enclosed measure holds 5 mL.

How to Apply

Spray weeds in moist soil. If necessary respray after 3

weeks. If using a watering can, use the same amount

of KLEEN LAWN in 4 times the volume of water and

apply to area stated.

Rain within 24 hours may affect results.

HOW TO PREPARE: Do not apply within drip line of shallow rooted shrubs or trees.

Apply only under calm conditions. Avoid spray drift and vapour movement onto

trees, shrubs, vegetables and flowers. Tomatoes and vines are particularly sensitive.

Thoroughly clean out spray equipment with water and detergent. Do not use same

equipment for application of other materials to sensitive plants.

Do not feed grass clippings from treated areas to poultry or animals or spread them

on the garden beds.

CAUTION: DO NOT allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers,

streams or ponds.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry

place out of the reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty

container by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag and putting in garbage.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Poisonous if swallowed. May irritate the eyes and skin.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale spray mist. When opening the

container and preparing spray wear elbow-length PVC gloves and face shield or

goggles. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. After use

and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with

soap and water. After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles and

contaminated clothing.

FIRST AID: If poisoning

occurs, contact a Doctor or

Poisons Information Centre.

eyes, hold eyes open, flood

with water for at least

OTTAWA –Health Canada is sharing the results of its review of potential long-term health effects involving valsartan drugs that were found to contain the impurity N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA). Health Canada scientists have assessed the available data to determine the potential increased risk of developing cancer, to help put the risk into context for Canadians.

As a precautionary measure, Camber Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all unexpired lots of Valsartan Tablets, USP, 40mg, 80mg, 160mg and 320mg to the hospital, retail and consumer level. This recall of multiple batches of Valsartan Tablets was prompted due to the detection of trace amounts of N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), a possible process impurity or contaminant in an active pharmaceutical ingredient, manufactured by Hetero Labs Limited, Unit – I (API manufacturer).

Several drugs containing valsartan being recalled due to contamination with a potential carcinogen

Several drugs containing the ingredient valsartan are being recalled by their manufacturers. An impurity, N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), was found in the valsartan used in these products. The valsartan was supplied by Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceuticals. NDMA is a potential human carcinogen, which means that it could cause cancer with long-term exposure. Five companies have affected products, which are being recalled (identified in table below).
