THE ONE SHOT DAIRY CLEANER

ALL IN ONE

is a

unique blend of detergents which enables it to be used as a

one product cleaner for milking equipment and vats. It performs the functions of

alkaline cleaners, acid cleaners and sanitisers. It is low foaming in its action.

IMPORTANT

NOTE:

If the instructions in the right hand panel are carefully followed a satisfactory

clean will result. All In One system already saves you time and money so please

do not rush and cut corners. The use of stronger solutions is wasteful and

unnecessary and they result in the contamination of milk. When used at the

correct volume low total counts will result. Precautions should be taken to avoid

All In One solutions flowing regularly over concrete floors. Collect solutions or

pipe them directly into drains, avoiding contact with concrete as much as

possible.

SAFETY

DIRECTIONS:

Corrosive. Attacks eyes and nose and throat and skin. Avoid contact with eyes

and skin and clothing. Do not inhale vapour or spray mist. When preparing

product use cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and washable hat and

rubber apron and face shield and elbow length neoprene gloves and chemical

resistant footwear. If clothing becomes contaminated with product, remove

clothing immediately. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and

water. If product in eyes, wash out immediately with water. After use and before

eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap

and water. After each days use, wash gloves and face shield and contaminated

clothing.

FIRST

AID:

If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. If

swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. If skin contact

occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If in eyes, hold

eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.

STORAGE

DISPOSAL:

Store in the closed original container in a cool well-ventilated area Do not store

Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to

spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace

cap and return containers to recycler or designated collection point.

If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and bury empty containers in a local

authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500 mm

in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of

waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product

should not be burnt.

SPECIAL

CLEANING

INSTRUCTIONS:

A special clean may be necessary before starting on the All In One programme

and at periodic intervals during the programme. Use Emerge-N-C followed by a

run with All In One before milking commences. Use Emerge-N-C at a strength

200 grams per 20 litres of water and circulate hot (75-80°C). Clean lines and

surfaces with hand brushes and torpedo brushes to ensure that all particles are

scoured from

t h e

surfaces. Rinse to remove soil and detergent. Follow with All

In One at standard use dilution of 100 mL per 20 litres of water. Your plant is

now ready for long, trouble free periods of regular cleaning with All In One.

IMMEDIATELY

FOLLOWING

MILKING:

Flush all extraneous soil from the exterior of test cups to avoid the vacuum

drawing it into the machine.

Draw through each set of cups 4 litres of cold to luke warm water to remove

loose residues. Create a surging effect by removing cups briskly from water

several times.

Prepare a solution of ALL IN ONE at the rate of 50 mL per 10 litres of

solution. Allow at least 3 litres per set of cups. Hot water is not required. Use

water at 20°C (or higher if storage tank temperature is higher).

Draw at least 3 litres through each set of cups commencing at the releaser

end, create surging effect. Collect a quantity of the detergent and if practical

wipe inside of releaser vessel with detergent solution when the cleaning cycle

is complete.

Prior to drawing detergent through the last set of cups remove rubber bung

from end of milk line and allow vacuum to draw several foam sponges or a

torpedo brush which has been previously soaked in the detergent through the

line, wipe bung in solution and replace, then draw the rest of the solution

through the last set in the usual manner.

e) Hand wash teat cups, releaser, all milk contact surfaces, check condition of

inflations.

Remove bung and releaser, place in clean dry situation and allow plant to

drain.

g) When All In One is used in circulating cleaning solutions a foam may

develop in the releaser and prevent long term circulation. If this occurs we

recommend circulation for 3 to 4 minutes only or as long as possible before

heavy foam prevents further circulation. Results have shown that a

satisfactory clean can be obtained with short time recycling or one cycle

cleaning as is experienced with flush cleaning from buckets.

CLEANING FARM VATS:

Prepare a solution of All In One at a rate of

mL per litre of water’or use the

cleaning solution saved from cleaning the milking machine. Using a dairy brush

nylon mitt, scrub all surfaces of the vat paying attention to the outlet,

underside of the stirrer and bridge. Flush off with the balance of the All In One

solution and allow to drain and dry.
