GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent water becoming hazy,
ALGI-SHOCK
should NOT be added for at least 48 hours after
superchlorinating pool. During normal dosing, however, this delay is
not required.
INITIAL TREATMENT: This dosage is used when filling the pool
at the beginning of
the
swimming season, or if the pool has visible algae. After 24 hours,
vacuum the pool to remove
any debris. If visible algae are still present, repeat the initial
dosage treatment.
SUMMER MAINTENANCE: When the pool is free of algae, use the
recommended monthly
dosage. If high temperatures prevail, or the pool has unusually heavy
use, add the monthly
dosage on a weekly basis.
WINTER MAINTENANCE: The winter dosage will provide algae control
during the off season. If
pool is sanitised with chlorine, treat pool every 3 – 4 weeks. After
application, filter water for 12
hours to ensure mixing, brush pool surfaces thoroughly and vacuum
regularly. Only use high
dosage rates (heavy algae removal and winter maintenance) when pool is
not in use.
CAUTION
Not to be used as a food container.
Always use
ALGI-SHOCK
with a registered sanitiser approved for pool use.
