Good for sore nipples
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Medela breastshells to give my cracked nipples a break as I was in such a pain that even fabric or breast pads were painful. It worked well for that purpose. I could not use the shells for their intended purpose because the pressure around the nipple would stimulate my production and lead to heavy let downs. Although the shells seal quite well on the breast, the milk would leak out the little holes at the top of the shell everytime I would bend down or everytime I'd have a large let down. I would not recommend them if you intend to wear them when out of the house!

Lifesaving!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re still getting the hang of breastfeeding and lil one loves to chomp first thing before opening up her lil mouth. That leaves for very sore nip nips! I was finding it hard putting breast pads on or prancing around topless. These helped me be discrete and comfortable and heal between feeds quicker.
Downside is that they definitely leak out the let down in the other boob if you forget to drain after a feed. To help I try and put a breast pad over the shell just in case.

Poor design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great concept, poor execution. These shells would be great, except for the fact that they almost cut off circulation to the nipple. The hole for the nipple causes pain and pressure, which I think actually limited the efficacy of the shell. I lean, and not i’ve when wearing these did I leak more than a few drops. After wearing these I would have deep indents from the hole and I was unable to wear for more than 5 minutes before pain started. Not worth the money, or the pain!

Clever little shells
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product. I had low milk supply so didn’t have much leakage but would always leak from one breast when I started feeding on the other. These shells let me catch that little leak and use the milk rather than wasting it into a pad. With low milk supply every little bit helps!! I never wore them outside he house as I used them for ‘collection’ and you can only use the milk they collect within a very short timeframe between collection and consumption.

Okay but better out there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the idea of catching my letdown while feeding from the other side however o found this product didn’t hold enough. I also found the holes in the top poured milk out every time I moved . I also had a hard time pouring the breast milk in to a bottle from the cups and often ended up spilling milk which I hated. I have since found a similar product I liked more so I wouldn’t buy this product again

Kinda weird
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the concept but the execution was lacking. I have a very large bust and these sat funny in my bra. I very obviously had these half spheres in my bra as they didn't blend into my bust shape. I guess a smaller bust would have been passable but given those breastfeeding often are a little larger, I can't see how these would be right for someone with an average bra size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are helpful but not the best product ever, they are noticeable not by much but they make your breasts look rather weird they also if anything seem to stop your letdown rather than catch it properly as it suctions your nipple in and then puts pressure on it which seems to stop them it would be a better product if it didn't apply pressure to the end of your nipple

Great collection shells
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great milk collection shells to help collect excess milk which would otherwise be wasted. They can easily be put on the breast and worn under the bra for convenience and can even be worn outside the home! They are soft, gentle, comfortable to wear. They are easy to clean and sterilise for future use.
