Sonopuls 492 is indicated for Pain Management and Muscle Stimulation. Pain Management 1. Symptomatic relief of chronic, intractable pain 2. Management of pain associated with post-traumatic or postoperative conditions. Muscle Stimulation 1. Relaxation of muscle spasms 2. Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy 3. Increasing local blood circulation 4. Muscle re-education 5. Immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis 6. Maintaining or increasing range of motion 7. Dysphagia It is also indicated for conditions that benefit from the application of deep heat: 1. Pain relief 2. Reduction of muscle spasm 3. Localized increase in blood flow 4. Increase range of motion of contracted joints
