Corrosive. May produce severe burns. Attacks skin and eyes. Product is poisonous if

swallowed. The product is alkaline. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. When

preparing and using the washing solution, wear elbow-length neoprene gloves and face

shield or goggles. If product or washing solution on skin, immediately wash area with soap

and water. Wash hands after use. After each days use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles

and contaminated clothing.

First Aid Instructions:

If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre, Phone 131126.

If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting, give a glass of water. If skin contact occurs remove

contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with

water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Immediately after milking, rinse milking machine using DeLaval’s pre-rinse solution at 35

Wash plant using a minimum of 7 litres of hot water per cluster, adding 20 – 40mL of ‘DeLaval

Liquid Alkali’ per 10L of hot water.

Dose rate depends on water hardness. Check with your DeLaval representative to establish the

best dose rate for your farm water conditions.

For best results, wash solution must be 80 – 85

C at the wash tub. Circulate wash solution for a

maximum of 5 minutes or until the wash solution temperature drops to 60

C, whichever occurs

first.

Sanitise milking machine using a DeLaval sanitiser after washing.

Rinse milking machine with potable water prior to the next milking.
