PERSISTENT ACTIVITY

CYDECTIN Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium when used as recommended prevents:

reinfection with Haemonchus contortus worms for at least 14 days and pasture contamination by H. contortus eggs for at least 30 days after a single treatment;

reinfection with Ostertagia spp worms for at least 14 days and pasture contamination by Ostertagia eggs for at least 35 days after a single treatment.

CYDECTIN Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium is effective against benzimidazole and levamisole resistant strains of

H. contortus, T. colubriformis and O. circumcincta. CYDECTIN has shown efficacy against a number of ivermectin resistant

consumption.

This product should not be used when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium is provided by other means (such

as pasture top dressing, vaccine, pellets or selenium drenches) if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can

determine selenium status by consulting their veterinarian.

CYDECTIN Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium is ready to use. Administer 1 mL per 5 kg liveweight using any

standard drenching equipment. Check dose rates and equipment before drenching commences.

This is a commercial product whose exact ratio of components may vary slightly. Minor quantities of other non

hazardous ingredients are also possible.

The SWA TWA exposure value is the average airborne concentration of a particular substance when calculated over a normal 8 hour working day

for a 5 day working week. The STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit) is an exposure value that may be equalled (but should not be exceeded) for no

longer than 15 minutes and should not be repeated more than 4 times per day. There should be at least 60 minutes between successive exposures

at the STEL. The term "peak "is used when the TWA limit, because of the rapid action of the substance, should never be exceeded, even briefly.

Section 4 - First Aid Measures

General Information:

You should call The Poisons Information Centre if you feel that you may have been poisoned, burned or irritated by

this product. The number is 13 1126 from anywhere in Australia (0800 764 766 in New Zealand) and is available at all

Disposal:

The container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues and has the drumMUSTER logo

visible. Triple or pressure rinse for disposal. Dispose of rinsate or any undiluted chemical according to State

legislation requirements. Wash outside of the container and the cap. Store cleaned container in a sheltered place with

cap removed. It will then be acceptable for recycling at any drumMUSTER collection or similar container management

program site. The cap should not be replaced but may be taken separately. Dispose of Cydectin LV Se in a disposal

pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Do not dispose of

undiluted chemicals on-site. Return clean container for recycling where this is an option or for disposal at a landfill

authorised to accept that waste. If neither these options are available, bury the container below 500 mm in a disposal

pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers should

not be burned.
