Topiramate Teva is indicated as adjunctive therapy for adults and children from 2 years and above with partial onset seizures or generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Topiramate teva is also indicated in adults and children as adjunctive therapy for the treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome . Topiramate Teva is indicated as monotherapy in patients with newly diagnosed epilepsy in adults and children aged 7 years and above or for conversion to monotherapy in patients with epilepsy.Topiramate Teva is indicated in adults for the prevention of migraines. The use of Topiramate Teva in the acute treatment of migraine has not been studied .

This medicine has been prescribed to treat
you. Do not pass it on to others. It may harm
them even if it seems to you that their medical
condition is similar.
This medicine is not intended for infants and
children under two years of age and as a
monotherapy under 7 years of age.
1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED
FOR?
The medicine is intended for:
• Treatment of seizures. For use in combination
with other medicines in adults and children
from the age of 2 years and up or as a
monotherapy in adult patients and children
from the age of 7 years and up.
• Prevention of migraines in adults. The
preparation is not intended for pain relief
during a migraine attack.

2. BEFORE USING THE MEDICINE DO NOT USE THE MEDICINE IF:
• You are sensitive (allergic) to the active
ingredient or to any of the additional
ingredients contained in the medicine, as
detailed in section 6 – “Further information”.
• You are taking the medicine to prevent
migraine and you are pregnant or think
