Noxafil gastro-resistant tablets are indicated for use in the treatment of the following fungal infections in adults (see sections 4. 2 y 5. 1):- Invasive aspergillosisNoxafil gastro-resistant tablets are indicated for use in the treatment of the following fungal infections in paediatric patients from 2 years of age weighing more than 40 kg and adults (see sections 4. 2 y 5. 1):- Invasive aspergillosis in patients with disease that is refractory to amphotericin B or itraconazole or in patients who are intolerant of these medicinal products;- Fusariosis in patients with disease that is refractory to amphotericin B or in patients who are intolerant of amphotericin B;- Chromoblastomycosis and mycetoma in patients with disease that is refractory to itraconazole or in patients who are intolerant of itraconazole;- Coccidioidomycosis in patients with disease that is refractory to amphotericin B, itraconazole or fluconazole or in patients who are intolerant of these medicinal products. La refractariedad se define como la progresión de la infección o el fracaso a mejorar después de un mínimo de 7 días antes de la dosis terapéutica de un eficaz tratamiento antifúngico. 1 ANEXO I FICHA TÉCNICA O RESUMEN DE LAS CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PRODUCTO 2 1. NOMBRE DEL MEDICAMENTO Noxafil 40 mg/ml suspensión oral 2. COMPOSICIÓN CUALITATIVA Y CUANTITATIVA Cada ml de suspensión oral contiene 40 mg de posaconazol. Excipientes con efecto conocido Este medicamento contiene aproximadamente 1,75 g de glucosa por 5 ml de suspensión. Este medicament o contiene 10 mg de benzoato de sodio (E -211) por 5 ml de suspens ión. Este medicamento contiene hasta 1,25 mg de alcohol be ncílico por 5 ml de suspensión. Este medic amento contiene hasta 24,75 mg de propilenglicol (E-1520) por 5 ml de suspensión. Para consultar la lista completa de excipien tes, ver sección 6.1. 3. FORMA FARMACÉUTICA Suspensión oral Suspensión blanca 4. DATOS CLÍNICOS 4.1 INDICACIONES TERAPÉUTICAS Noxafil suspensión oral está indicado en adultos, en el tratamiento de las siguientes infecciones fúngicas (ver sección 5.1): - aspergilosis invasora en pacientes con enfermedad resistente a a m fotericina B o itraconazol, o en pacientes que son intolerantes a estos medicamentos; - f usariosis en pacientes con enfermedad resistente a a m fotericina B, o en pacientes que son intolerantes a am fotericina B; - c romoblastomicosis y micetoma en pacientes con enfermedad r esisten te a itraconazol, o en pacientes que son intolerantes a itraconazol; - c occidioidomicosis en pacientes con enfermedad resistente a a m fotericina B, itraconazol o fluconazo l, o en pacientes que son intolerantes a estos medicamentos; - c andidiasis orof aríngea : como terapia de primera línea en pacientes que presentan enfermedad grave o que están inmunodeprimidos, en los que se espera que la respuesta a la terapia tópic a sea in suficiente.
