Tomahawk

200 EC er et systemisk virkende ukrudtsmiddel til bekæmpelse af

tokimbladet ukrudt om foråret i vintersæd, vårsæd, vårsæd med udlæg af græs,

fodermajs og på græsarealer. Tomahawk

200 EC optages primært gennem

bladene. På følsomme ukrudtsarter kan man normalt se virkningen 1-2 dage efter

behandlingen. Tilvæksten stopper og ukrudtsplanterne vil visne bort i løbet af 2-3

uger.

ANVENDELSE

Korn:

Tomahawk

200 EC anvendes i vinter- og vårsæd fra det tidlige forår og frem til

afgrødens stadie 45 – fanebladets bladskede opsvulmet. Behandlede arealer kan også

høstes til grønkorn og helsæd. Tomahawk

200 EC kan også anvendes i kornafgrøder

med udlæg af græs, men ikke hvis udlægget indeholder kløver, lucerne eller andre

bælgplanter. Ved bekæmpelse af burresnerre vil der kun være effekt på de planter, der

er spiret frem på behandlingstidspunktet.

Fodermajs:

I fodermajs kan Tomahawk

200 EC anvendes alene eller i blanding med andre

ukrudtsmidler. Tomahawk

200 EC anvendes når majsen har 3-6 blade (BBCH 13-16).

Græs:

Tomahawk

200 EC anvendes især til bekæmpelse af skræpper, mælkebøtter, nælder

og brandbæger i vedvarende græsarealer. Skræpper behandles, når de har nået deres

fulde rosetstadium og stængeldannelsen er begyndt. Mælkebøtter behandles, når

disse har nået deres fulde rosetstadium. Vår- og engbrandbæger behandles i det

tidlige forår. Der kan være behov for at behandle arealerne efterfølgende på grund

af en lang fremspringsperiode. Dette skal være med et andet ukrudtsmiddel, da

Tomahawk

200 EC kun må anvendes en gang årligt. Behandlede arealer må ikke

afgræsses tidligere end 7 dage efter behandling.

KLIMAFORHOLD

Tomahawk

200 EC er relativ uafhængig af luftfugtigheden, hvilket betyder, at man

opnår samme sikre effekt ved en behandling i løbet af dagen, som ved en behandling

om morgenen. Tomahawk

200 EC anvendes med god virkning, når temperaturen er

over 7-8°C. Behandling med Tomahawk

200 EC frarådes, når ukrudtet er under stress

på grund af tørke, vandlidende jord, meget høje dagtemperaturer, samt i perioder

med nattefrost omkring behandlingstidspunktet.

200 EC god effekt på agersnerle, haremad, jordrøg,

mælkebøtte, nælde, pengeurt, skræppe og tvetand når ukrudtet har 2-4 blade.

SPECIMEN

Resistens

Aktivstoffet i Tomahawk

200 EC, fluroxypyr, tilhører gruppe O i henhold til HRAC

og har auxinvirkning. Risikoen for udvikling af resistens anses for at være meget lille

ved anvendelse af Tomahawk

200 EC. For nærværende er der ikke kendte tilfælde af

resistens overfor fluroxypyr.

For at undgå udvikling af resistens hos ukrudtsarterne anbefales følgende:

• Følg skadetærsklen

• Sprøjtning bør udføres under optimale betingelser

• Ved behov for at gentage behandlingen bør der bruges et produkt med en anden

virkningsmekanisme

• Brug den bedste sprøjte teknologi

TANKBLANDINGER

Tomahawk

200 EC kan blandes med andre ukrudtsmidler, hvorved antallet af

ukrudtsarter, som bekæmpes, udvides. Tomahawk

200 EC kan tankblandes med

de fleste almindelige svampe-, insekt- og stråforkortnings midler samt med

mikronæringsstoffer som tokomponent blandinger.

SPRØJTETEKNIK

Tilberedning af sprøjtevæsken:

Sørg altid for at sprøjten er korrekt rengjort samt efterset for belægninger inden

tilberedning af sprøjtevæsken begyndes. Dette gælder især, hvis sprøjten har været

anvendt til sprøjteopgaver i andre afgrøder.

Sprøjtebeholderen fyldes halvt med vand og omrøring startes.

Præparatfyldeudstyr

Ved anvendelse af præparatfyldeudstyr og flydende præparater påfyldes den ønskede

mængde Tomahawk

200 EC, som herefter suges op i sprøjtetanken (dunken omrystes

kraftigt inden tilsætning). Efterfølgende skylles præparatfyldeudstyret, samt evt.

tomme dunke/beholdere. Gentag proceduren med at åbne/lukke for bundventil indtil

der ikke er synlige spor af Tomahawk

200 EC i fyldestationen. Blandingen sprøjtes ud

straks.

Direkte injektion

Ved anvendelse af direkte injektionsudstyr, ledes det ufortyndede præparat

automatisk ind i de slanger, som fører fra sprøjtens tank til dyserne. Ved skift og

afslutning af sprøjteopgaver gennemføres en gennemskylning og rengøring af

systemet. Vaskevandet sprøjtes ud under kørsel på det behandlede areal.

Hvor der er risiko for afdrift til søer og vandløb, bør der anvendes ”lowdrift” dyser.

Rengøring

Efter endt sprøjtearbejde skal sprøjte og traktor rengøres enten i marken eller

på vaskepladsen. En uvasket sprøjte skal placeres i den behandlede mark, på

vaskepladsen eller under tag. Sprøjten skal være monteret med spuledyser til

indvendig rengøring af tanken, og sprøjten skal være monteret med separat vandtank

med tilstrækkelig kapacitet således, at restsprøjtevæsken kan fortyndes og at der

kan foretages en grundig rengøring i marken. Restsprøjtevæsken skal på passende

vis fortyndes 50 gange med vand og udsprøjtes i den behandlede mark (uden at den

maksimalt tilladte dosering for det pågældende middel herved overskrides).

Rengøring i øvrigt foretages med egnede rengøringsmidler (se evt. etiketten på det

sidst anvendte middel for specifikke anvisninger) samtidig med at filtre, slanger og

dyser kontrolleres for urenheder og eventuelle belægninger. Vaskevandet opsamles i

egnede beholdere og udbringes iht. gældende regler.

I øvrigt henvises til Miljøstyrelsen vejledning angående påfyldning og vask af sprøjter

til udbringning af bekæmpelsesmidler, jf. Miljøministeriets bekendtgørelse nr. 1598 af

18. december 2014.

BEMÆRK

Strå og plantemateriale som er behandlet med Tomahawk

200 EC bør ikke anvendes

i drivhuse eller til kompost. Ved udsprøjtning af Tomahawk

200 EC bør der tages

hensyn til følsomme afgrøder, især læggekartofler. Det gælder også vinddrift.

Tomahawk

200 EC opbevares i originale lukkede beholdere ved temperaturer over

0°C.

TOM EMBALLAGE

Indholdet/beholderen bortskaffes i overensstemmelse med kommunale regler for

affaldshåndtering (P501): Rester skal afleveres til den kommunale affaldsordning for

farligt affald. Tomme beholdere kan bortskaffes med dagrenovationen. Den tomme

beholder bør skylles inden bortskaffelse. Skyllevandet hældes op i sprøjtevæsken.
