1. Virkning og anvendelse

Lidocain Accord er en lokalbedøvelse. Det bruges til at lokalbedøve dele af

kroppen under små kirurgiske procedurer. Det forhindrer nerverne i at kunne

sende smertebeskeder til hjernen og stopper dermed, at du føler smerte. Det

begynder at virke et par minutter efter at være blevet indsprøjtet og aftager

langsomt, når den kirurgiske procedure er afsluttet.

2. Det skal du vide, før du begynder at bruge Lidocain Accord

Lægen kan have foreskrevet anden anvendelse eller dosering end angivet i

denne information. Følg altid lægens anvisning og oplysningerne på

doseringsetiketten.

Brug ikke Lidocain Accord:

hvis du er overfølsom over for lidocainhydrochlorid, lokalanæstetika af

amidtypen eller et af de øvrige indholdsstoffer i Lidocain Accord

(angivet i punkt 6).

hvis du har meget lavt blodtryk, eller hvis du har mistet for meget blod

eller andre kropsvæsker eller dit hjerte ikke er i stand til at pumpe nok

blod af andre grunde, bør du ikke få Lidocain Accord indsprøjtet i din

rygsøjle.

Tal med din læge, hvis en af disse er gældende for dig, før du får dette

lægemiddel.

Advarsler og forsigtighedsregler

Tal med din læge eller apotekspersonalet eller sundhedspersonalet, før du

bruger Lidocain Accord

hvis du er ældre eller i en generelt svækket tilstand

hvis du lider af hjerteproblemer såsom en langsom eller uregelmæssig

hjerterytme eller hjertesvigt.

hvis du lider af lunge- eller vejrtrækningsproblemer.

hvis du lider af en leversygdom eller har nyreproblemer.

hvis du lider af anfald (epilepsi).

hvis du har betændelse eller infektion i området, der skal indsprøjtes.

hvis du har porfyri (en sjælden arvelig sygdom, der påvirker huden og

nervesystemet).

hvis du har problemer med blodpropper

hvis du er i de sidste tre måneder af graviditeten

Hvis du ikke er sikker på, om noget af ovenstående gælder for dig, så tal med

din læge, før du får Lidocain Accord.

Brug af anden medicin sammen med Lidocain Accord

Fortæl det til lægen eller apotekspersonalet, hvis du tager anden medicin eller

har gjort det for nylig.

Sig det især til lægen, hvis du tager et af følgende lægemidler:

andre lokalanæstetika.

lægemidler, der anvendes til behandling af mavesar eller sår på

tolvfingertarmen (f.eks cimetidin).

lægemidler til behandling af uregelmæssig hjerterytme (f.eks

amiodaron).

Graviditet og amning

Hvis du er gravid eller ammer, har mistanke om, at du er gravid, eller

planlægger at blive gravid, skal du spørge din læge eller apotekspersonalet til

råds, før du bruger dette lægemiddel.

Trafik- og arbejdssikkerhed

Lidocain Accord kan have midlertidig effekt på din evne til at køre eller

betjene maskiner afhængig af dosis og administration.

Spørg din læge, hvornår det vil være sikkert at genoptage disse aktiviteter.

Lidocain Accord indeholder natrium

Hver ml opløsning til injektion indeholder ca. 0,118 mmol natrium (hvis

styrken 10 mg/ml anvendes) eller 0,082 mmol natrium (hvis styrken 20 mg/ml

anvendes). Dette skal tages i betragtning hos patienter på en

natriumkontrolleret diæt.

3. Sådan skal du bruge Lidocain Accord

Lidocain Accord vil blive givet til dig af en læge. Det vil blive givet til dig som

en indsprøjtning i en vene, en muskel, under huden eller ind i epiduralrummet

nær rygmarven.

Den dosis, som din læge giver dig, vil afhænge af, hvilken type smertelindring

du har brug for. Den vil også afhænge af din kropsstørrelse, alder, fysiske

tilstand og den del af din krop, som lægemidlet bliver sprøjtet ind. Du får den

mindst mulige dosis for at producere den påkrævede virkning.

Brug til børn og unge

Dosis bør reduceres hos børn og patienter i nedsat almentilstand.

Lidocain Accord vil normalt blive givet nær den del af kroppen, der skal

opereres.

Hvis du har fået for meget Lidocain Accord

Kontakt lægen, skadestuen eller apoteket, hvis du har taget mere af Lidocain

Accord, end der står i denne information, eller mere end lægen har foreskrevet

(og du føler dig utilpas).

Den læge, der behandler dig, er uddannet til at håndtere alvorlige bivirkninger

ved at få for meget Lidocain Accord.

De første tegn på at man har fået for meget Lidocain Accord er normalt som

følger:

kramper,

rastløshed,

følelse af svimmelhed eller ørhed,

kvalme,

følelsesløshed eller prikkende fornemmelser i læberne og omkring

munden,

synsproblemer.

Hvis noget af dette sker for dig, eller du tror, du har fået for meget Lidocain

Accord, så kontakt straks lægen eller sygeplejersken.

Mere alvorlige bivirkninger som følge af for meget Lidocain Accord kan

forekomme efterfølgende, såsom balance- og koordinationslidelser, auditive

ændringer, eufori, forvirring, taleproblemer, bleghed, svedtendens, rysten,

kramper, påvirkning af dit hjerte og blodkar, bevidsthedstab, koma og

kortvarig vejrtrækningsstop (apnø).

4. Bivirkninger

Dette lægemiddel kan som al anden medicin give bivirkninger, men ikke alle

får bivirkninger.

Fortæl straks din læge eller sygeplejerske, hvis du har en alvorlig allergisk

reaktion (angioødem eller anafylaktisk chok). Tegnene kan omfatte

pludseligt opstået:

hævelse af ansigt, læber, tunge eller hals; dette kan gøre det vanskeligt at

synke,

alvorlig eller pludselig hævelse af hænder, fødder og ankler,

åndedrætsbesvær,

svær kløe i huden (med hævede buler),

feber,

blodtryksfald.

Disse bivirkninger er sjældne (kan påvirke op til 1 ud af 1000 personer).

5. Opbevaring

Opbevares utilgængeligt for børn.

Dette lægemiddel kræver ingen særlige forholdsregler vedrørende

opbevaringen.

Brug ikke lægemidlet efter den udløbsdato, der står på ampullen/hætteglasset

og pakningen efter Exp. Udløbsdatoen er den sidste dag i den nævnte måned.

Kun til engangsbrug, anvendes umiddelbart efter åbning, bortskaf al ubrugt

indhold.

Brug ikke dette lægemiddel, hvis du bemærker, at indholdet er misfarvet på

nogen måde. Injektionsvæsken bør ikke anvendes, hvis der er partikler til

stede.

Bortskaf ikke medicinrester via afløbet eller husholdningsaffald. Spørg på

apoteket, hvordan du skal bortskaffe medicinrester, som du ikke længere

bruger. Disse foranstaltninger vil bidrage til at beskytte miljøet.

Lidocain Accord indeholder:

Aktivt stof: lidocainhydrochlorid.

Lidocain Accord 10 mg/ml injektionsvæske, opløsning: 1 ml

Lidocain Accord 20 mg/ml injektionsvæske, opløsning 1 ml injektionsvæske,

opløsning indeholder 20 mg lidocainhydrochlorid.

Øvrige indholdsstoffer: natriumchlorid, saltsyre (til justering af pH),

natriumhydroxid (til justering af pH) og vand til injektionsvæsker.

Lidocain Accord er en klar, farveløs, steril opløsning til injektion. Det findes i

to styrker, 10 mg/ml og 20 mg/ml.

Health Canada is advising Canadians that one lot of “Organic Traditions Shatavari Powder” is being voluntarily recalled by Advantage Health Matters Inc. Company testing found Salmonella bacteria contamination, which may pose serious health risks. According to Advantage Health Matters Inc., 13 units from the affected lot were distributed. Of the 13 units, only 2 packages, sold at Choices Markets Yaletown (1202 Richards Street) in Vancouver, B.C., have not been recovered.
