ALGAEClDi.rs
a high performance algaecide which is formulated
to kill and control most common forms of green, blue-green (“black
spot”) and
mustard algae in swimming pool water.
For maximum effectiveness, ALGINOX POOL ALGAECIDE should be maintained
at
recommended levels and added routinely for proper control.
It is also ideal for
winterising pool water to prevent algae blooms from developing over
the off-season.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
ALGINOX POOL ALGAECIDE must be used in conjunction with a pool
sanitiser (eg.
granular or liquid chlorine) to effectively control algae growth.
To prevent the water appearing HAZY, ALGINOX POOL ALGAECIDE should not
be
added for at least 48 hours after superchlorinating or shock treating
the pool.
This time delay is not required during normal dosing.
Use ALGINOX POOL ALGAECIDE weekly during summer and monthly during the
off-season.

FIRST AID MEASURES
FIRST AID: Take a copy of this MSDS to medical advisers if signs or
symptoms of overexposure
occur and medical attention is required.
SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth out with water. SEEK ADVICE IMMEDIATELY from a
medical practitioner
or Poisons Information Centre. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING UNLESS advised
to do so by a medical
practitioner. If more than a mouthful has been swallowed, give one or
two glasses of water or
milk.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly wash exposed skin
with waterless hand
cleaner (if available) followed by plenty of soap and water. Seek
medical advice if skin irritation
occurs.
EYE: If contact with the liquid occurs, or if eye irritation arises,
hold the eyelid(s) open and flush
the eye(s) with fresh lukewarm water (or, if available, other eye
cleansing solutions) for at least
15 min
