DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
DO NOT USE IN BIRDS THAT ARE PRODUCING OR MAY IN FUTURE PRODUCE EGGS
OR EGG
PRODUCTS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Mix thoroughly into feed. During treatment use only
oxytetracycline-medicated feed. Medicated feed should be kept dry
and used within three months of mixing.
POULTRY:
225 -450 g/tonne of finished feed. Use until 24 hours after symptoms
disappear.
•
PIGS:
Leptospirosis, for control and treatment of an outbreak: 550 –1100
g/tonne of
finished feed for 7-14 days. Prevention should be based on
vaccination.
Other diseases: 225 –450 g/tonne of finished feed for 7-14 days.
•
CATTLE:
1.1g /head /day for the first 7 days on entry to the feedlot, and
repeat for 1-3 days during
periods of stress.
• CALVES:
0.55 g per 50 kg bodyweight /head /day. Continue treatment for 24
hours
after symptoms have subsided.
ANY VARIATION BY THE PRESCRIBING VETERINARIAN TO THE APPROVED DOSE,
FREQUENCY, DURATION, ROUTE, DISEASE OR TARGET
SPECIES MAY REQUIRE EXTENDING THE APPROVED WITHHOLDING PERIOD.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MEAT – DO NOT USE LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE SLAUGHTER FOR HUMAN
CONSUMPTION.
