The active constituent
in
Intramex
Intrauterine Antiseptic Pessaries is effective
against the bacteria that
cause postpartum metritis. Body fluids,
such as
blood, have no adverse effect
on the microbicidal
action.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Dosage and
administration
COWS AND MARES:
Insert 1 to 2 pessaries right into the uterus according to the
conditions of
the cases.
In severe cases continue treatment for 3 days if
necessary,
or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
EWES AND SOWS:
Insert 1 pessary right into the uterus. In severe cases continue
treatment for 3 days if
necessary, or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
With a suitable antiseptic wash, such as Cattlekare
Chlorodex
Scrub
clean hands
and arms, then thoroughly clean the animal's vulva and tail
areas.
Utilising shoulder length
gloves,
lubricated with Cattlekare Cet-a-Creme or Aqua.Lube,
gently insert the pessaries
deep into the uterus.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD NIL.
