Claims:
Anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-thrombotic therapy for horses
and dogs.

General – For the suppression of mild inflammation and/or fever.
(a) MUSCULOSKELETAL
Short term treatment of mild joint and connective tissue disease,
osteoarthritis, tendon and
ligament sprains and exertional myopathy.
(b) PYRESIS
Symptomatic suppression of fever in situations where the pyresis is
inappropriate or
excessive.
(c) THROMBOSIS
Prevention or reduction of thrombosis where it plays a part in disease
aetiology.
Horse: pedal thrombotic conditions, early disseminated intravascular
coagulation.
Dog: adjunct to D. immitis adulticide therapy, early disseminated
intravascular coagulation.

Restraints:
DO NOT USE in food-producing animals. RLP APPROVED
Contraindications:
This product should not be used:
-concurrently with aminoglycoside antibiotics.
-in animals under 30 days of age.
-at anti-inflammatory doses for prolonged periods.
-where intestinal ulceration is suspected or has been diagnosed.
-in animals with severe renal or hepatic disease, or severe
dehydration.

Dosage and
Administration:
Use the contents within 3 months of first broaching of the vial.
Discard the unused portion.
Administer by slow intra-venous injection. Avoid extravasation as
irritation and phlebitis
may result.
Anti-inflammatory:
Dog - 10 mg/kg every 12 hours
Horse - 35 - 45 mg/kg every 8 - 12 hours
Anti-thrombotic:
Dog - 3 mg/kg every 6 days
Horse - 5 mg/kg every 2nd day or 20 mg/kg every 5th day
General Directions:
If used in performance animals, the regulations of the relevant
authorities regarding
medication should be observed.
