Какво представлява Levetiracetam Accord?

Levetiracetam Accord е лекарство, което съдържа активното вещество леветирацетам

За какво се използва Levetiracetam Accord?

Levetiracetam Accord може да се използва самостоятелно при пациенти на възраст над 16 години с

новодиагностицирана епилепсия за лечение на парциални припадъци (пристъпи) със или без

вторична генерализация. Това е вид епилепсия, при която прекомерната електрическа активност

в едната страна на мозъка причинява симптоми като внезапни, конвулсивни движения на едната

част на тялото, нарушен слух, обоняние или зрение, загуба на чувствителност или внезапен

страх. Вторичната генерализация настъпва, когато свръхактивността се разпространява в целия

мозък.

Levetiracetam Accord може да се използва и като допълващо лечение към други лекарства за

епилепсия:

парциални пристъпи със или без генерализация при пациенти на възраст над 1 месец;

миоклонични пристъпи (кратки подобни на шок спазми на един мускул или група мускули)

при пациенти на възраст над 12 години с ювенилна миоклонична епилепсия;

загуба на съзнание) при пациенти на възраст над 12 години с идиопатична генерализирана

епилепсия (смята се, че този вид епилепсия е наследствена).

Лекарственият продукт се отпуска по лекарско предписание.

Как се използва Levetiracetam Accord?

Когато Levetiracetam Accord се използва самостоятелно, началната доза е от 250 mg два пъти

дневно и се увеличава след две седмици до 500 mg два пъти дневно. Дозата може да бъде

допълнително увеличавана на интервали от две седмици в зависимост от повлияването на

пациента до достигане на максимална доза от 1 500 mg два пъти дневно.

Когато Levetiracetam Accord се добавя към друго лечение за епилепсия, началната доза при

пациенти на възраст над 12 години с тегло над 50 kg е 500 mg два пъти дневно. Дневната доза

може да бъде увеличена до 1 500 mg два пъти дневно. При пациенти с тегло по-малко от 50 kg

препоръчителната доза зависи от теглото им. Пациентите, които не могат да приемат таблетки,

следва да приемат разтвор, съдържащ леветирацетам.

При пациенти, които имат проблеми с бъбреците (напр. по-възрастни пациенти) се използват по-

ниски дози. Таблетките Levetiracetam Accord се поглъщат с течност.

Как действа Levetiracetam Accord?

Активното вещество в Levetiracetam Accord, леветирацетам, е лекарство за епилепсия.

Епилепсията се причинява от прекомерна електрическа активност в мозъка. Точният механизъм

на действие на леветирацетам не е изяснен, но той се свързва с протеин, наречен синаптичен

везикуларен протеин 2А, който участва в освобождаването на химични агенти от нервните

клетки. Това помага на Levetiracetam Accord да стабилизира електрическата активност в мозъка и

да предотвратява припадъците.

Как е проучен Levetiracetam Accord?

Тъй като Levetiracetam Accord е генерично лекарство, направените проучвания целят да докажат

единствено, че продуктът е биоеквивалентен на референтното лекарство Keppra. Две лекарства

се считат за биоеквивалентни, когато произвеждат едни и същи нива на активното вещество в

организма.

Какви са ползите и рисковете, свързани с Levetiracetam Accord?

Тъй като Levetiracetam Accord е генерично лекарство и биоеквивалент на референтното

лекарство, приема се, че ползите и рисковете са същите като при референтното лекарство.

Защо Levetiracetam Accord е разрешен за употреба?

СНМР заключи, че в съответствие с изискванията на ЕС е доказано, че Levetiracetam Accord е със

сравнимо качество и представлява биоеквивалент на Keppra. Следователно CHMP счита, че както

при Keppra, ползите превишават установените рискове. Комитетът препоръча на Levetiracetam

Accord да се издаде разрешение за употреба.

Какво представлява Леветирацетам Accord и за какво се използва

Леветирацетам Accord е антиепилептично лекарство (лекарство за лечение на пристъпи при

епилепсия).

Леветирацетам Accord

се използва:

самостоятелно при възрастни и юноши на 16 и повече години с новодиагностицирана

епилепсия за лечение на определена форма на епилепсия. Епилепсията е заболяване,

при което пациентите имат повтарящи се припадъци (пристъпи). Леветирацетам се

използва при форма на епилепсия, при която пристъпът първоначално засяга само

едната страна на мозъка, но може след това да обхване по-големи зони от двете страни

на мозъка (парциален пристъп със или без вторична генерализация). Леветирацетам Ви

е назначен от Вашия лекар, за да се намали броят на припадъците.

като допълнение към други антиепилептични лекарства за лечение на:

парциални пристъпи със или без генерализация при възрастни, юноши, деца и

кърмачета на един и повече месеца

миоклонични пристъпи (кратки, резки потрепвания на мускул или група мускули)

при възрастни и юноши на 12 и повече години с ювенилна миоклонична епилепсия.

първично генерализирани тонично-клонични пристъпи (големи припадъци,

включително загуба на съзнание) при възрастни и юноши на 12 и повече години с

Какво трябва да знаете, преди да приемете Леветирацетам Accord

Не приемайте Леветирацетам Accord

Ако сте алергични към леветирацетам, пиролидинови производни или към някоя от

останалите съставки на това лекарство (изброени в точка 6).

Предупреждения и предпазни мерки

Говорете с Вашия лекар, преди да приемете Леветирацетам Accord

Ако имате бъбречни проблеми, следвайте лекарските указания. Вашия лекар може да

прецени дали Вашата дозировка трябва да се коригира.

Ако забележите някакво забавяне на растежа или неочаквано развитие на пубертет на

Вашето дете, моля информирайте Вашия лекар.

Малка част от хората, лекувани с антиепилептици като Леветирацетам Accord са имали

мисли за самонараняване или самоубийство. Ако имате симптоми на депресия и/или

мисли за самоубийство, моля обърнете се към Вашия лекар.

Деца и юноши

Леветирацетам Accord не е показана при деца и юноши под 16 години като самостоятелно

лечение (монотерапия)

Други лекарства и

Леветирацетам Accord

Информирайте Вашия лекар или фармацевт, ако приемате, наскоро сте приемали или е

възможно да приемате други лекарства.

Не приемайте макрогол (слабително лекарство) в продължение на един час преди и един час

след приема на леветирацетам, тъй като това може да води до намаляване на неговия ефект.

Бременност и кърмене

Ако сте бременна или кърмите, смятате, че може да сте бременна или планирате бременност,

посъветвайте се с Вашия лекар или фармацевт преди употребата на това лекарство.

Леветирацетам Accord не трябва да се използва по време на бременност освен в случай на

категорична необходимост. Не може да се изключи напълно риска от вродени дефекти за

Вашето неродено дете. Проучванията с Леветирацетам Accord при животни показват нежелана

репродуктивна токсичност, но в дози който са значително по високи от тези от които се

нуждаете за да контролирате пристъпите си.

Не се препоръчва кърмене по време на лечението.

Шофиране и работа с машини

Леветирацетам Accord може да повлияе върху способността за шофиране и работа с машини,

тъй като може да предизвика сънливост. Това е по вероятно в началото на лечението или след

увеличаване на дозата. Не използвайте каквато и да е техника или машини докато не се

установи, че способността Ви да изпълнявате тези дейности не е засегната.

Леветирацетам Accord 750 mg таблетки съдържа сънсет жълто FCF

(Е110)

Оцветителят сънсет жълто може да предизвика алергични реакции.

Другите видове Леветирацетам Accord таблетки не съдържат тази съставка.

3.

Как да приемате Леветирацетам Accord

Винаги приемайте това лекарство точно както Ви е казал Вашият лекар или фармацевт. Ако не

сте сигурни в нещо, попитайте Вашия лекар или фармацевт.

Приемайте предписания брой таблетки точно както Ви е казал Вашия лекар.

Леветирацетам Accord трябва да се приема два пъти дневно, веднъж сутрин и веднъж вечер, по

едно и също време всеки ден.

Монотерапия

Дозировка при възрастни и юноши (16 години и повече):

Обичайна доза: между 1 000 mg и 3 000 mg всеки ден.

Когато първоначално започнете да приемате Леветирацетам Accord, Вашият лекар ще Ви

предпише

по ниска

доза

(500 mg всеки ден)

в продължение на 2 седмици, преди да Ви

даде най ниската обичайна доза от

1000 mg.

Допълващо лечение

Дозировка при възрастни и юноши (12-17 години) с тегло 50 kg или повече:

Обичайна доза: между 1 000 mg и 3 000 mg всеки ден.

Например:

ако дневната Ви доза 1 000 mg, Вие може да приемате 2 таблетки по 250 mg

сутрин и 2 таблетки по 250 mg вечер.

Дозировка при кърмачета (1 месец до 23 месеца), деца (2 - 11 години) и юноши (12-17

години) с тегло под 50 kg:

Вашият лекар ще предпише най подходящата форма на Леветирацетам Accord съобразно

възрастта, теглото и дозировката.

Перорален разтвор е по подходяща форма за кърмачета и деца на възраст под 6 години и

за деца и юноши (от 6 до 17 години) с тегло под 50 kg и когато таблетките не позволяват

точно дозиране.

Начин на приложение:

Поглъщайте таблетките Леветирацетам Accord с достатъчно количество течност (например

чаша вода). Може да приемате Леветирацетам Accord със или без храна.

Продължителност на лечението:

Леветирацетам Accord се прилага за хронично лечение. Вие трябва да приемате

Леветирацетам Accord толкова продължително, колкото Ви е посъветвал Вашия лекар.

Не спирайте лечението с Леветирацетам Accord без съвет от Вашия лекар, тъй като това

може да увеличи пристъпи Ви.

Ако сте приели повече от необходимата доза Леветирацетам Accord:

Възможните нежелани лекарствени реакции при предозиране на леветирацетам са сънливост,

тревожност, агресия, намалено внимане, потискане на дишането и кома.

Уведомете Вашия лекар, ако сте приели повече от необходимите таблетки. Вашият лекар ще

предприеме най добрите възможни мерки при предозиране.

Ако сте пропуснали да приемете Леветирацетам Accord:

Уведомете Вашия лекар, ако сте пропуснали една или повече дози.

Не вземайте двойна доза, за да компенсирате пропуснатата таблетка.

Ако сте спрели приема на Леветирацетам Accord:

При спиране на лечението приемът на Леветирацетам Accord трябва да се спира постепенно с

цел избягване увеличаване на пристъпите.

Ако Вашият лекар реши да спре лечението с Леветирацетам Accord, ще Ви обясни как

постепенно да спрете приема.

Ако имате някакви допълнителни въпроси, свързани с употребата на този продукт, моля

попитайте Вашия лекар или фармацевт.

4.

Възможни нежелани реакции

Както всички лекарства това лекарство може да предизвика нежелани реакции, въпреки че не

всеки ги получава.

Незабавно

слабост, чувство за прималяване или замайване или имате затруднено дишане, тъй като те

температура,

Най често съобщаваните нежелани реакции са назофарингит, сънливост, главоболие, умора и

замаяност. В началото на лечението или при увеличаване на дозата, нежеланите реакции, като

сънливост, умора и замаяност може да се срещат по често. Тези реакции се очаква да намаляват

с времето.

Много чести:

амнезия (загуба на памет), нарушения на паметта (забравяне), нарушена координация/

атаксия (липса на координация на движенията), парестезия (изтръпване), нарушение на

вниманието (загуба на концентрация);

диплопия (двойно виждане), замъглено зрение;

повишение/отклонение в чернодробните функционални показатели;

косопад, екзема, пруритус;

мускулна слабост, миалгия (болка в мускулите);

нараняване.

самоубийство, личностни нарушения (поведенчески проблеми), промяна в мисленето

(забавено мислене, невъзможност за концентрация);

неконтролирани мускулни спазми засягащи главата, тялото и крайниците, трудност при

контролиране на движенията, хиперкинезия (повишена активност);

панкреатит;

чернодробна недостатъчност, хепатит;

внезапно намаляване на бъбречната функция;

кожен обрив, който може да е под формата на мехури и да изглежда като малки мишени

(тъмни петна в центъра, заобиколени от по бледи зони, с тъмен пръстен около ръба)

еритема мултиформе

пациенти от японски произход в сравнение с пациенти от неяпонски произход.

5.

Как да съхранявате Леветирацетам Accord

Да се съхранява на място, недостъпно за деца.

Не използвайте това лекарство след срока на годност отбелязан върху картонената кутия и

блистера след “ Годен до:/EXP”. Срокът на годност отговаря на последния ден от посочения

месец

Това лекарство не изисква специални условия на съхранение

Не изхвърляте лекарствата в канализацията или в контейнера за домашни отпадъци. Попитайте

Вашия фармацевт как да изхърляте лекарствата, които вече не използвате. Тези мерки ще

спомогнат за опазване на околната среда.

Бяла до почти бяла, елипсовидна, двойноизпъкнала филмирана таблетка с вдлъбнато релефно

означение "L 67" и делителна черта на едната страна и гладка от другата страна.

Levetiracetam Accord филмирани таблетки 250 mg, 500 mg, 750 mg и 1000 mg са опаковани в

PVC/алуминиеви блистери. Блистерите са опаковани в картонени кутии с листовка, съдържащи

10, 20, 30, 50, 60, 100 и 200 таблетки в опаковка. Освен това, таблетките са предлагат и в
